Most African slaves were shipped to Jamaica. A lot of slaves, including American slaves 5th great grandfather is a white slave owner. Her father's 5th great grandfather was a white slave owner that had kids with her father's 5th great grandmother who was a slave. That happened to mostly all black people. Does not make you white. DUH!!!! No other white parents located on her family tree on either side. And who cares!!!!

They are being wilfully ignorant by calling her father black just because he came from Jamaica. Being Jamaican does not make one black. Having pigmentation in one skin does not give them African ethnicity.

Christiana Brown & Joseph Alexander Harris (Sephardic Jewish Cuban/Jamaican) produces: Oscar Joseph Brown Harris and five other children. Oscar Joseph Brown Harris & Beryl Madeline (Finegan) Harris produced: Donald Jasper Harris and one other child. Donald Jasper Harris PhD. & Dr. Shyamala (Gopland) Harris produced: Kamala Harris and one other child. Hamilton (Iron Head) Brown was an infamous Irish borne slave owner who was also a politician and anti-abolitionist who founded a town named after himself (Browns Town). There’s an article that anyone can google where Kamala’s father was upset about her interview portraying Jamaican people as pot smoking party-types and other stereotypes. He called her out on it and suggested his relatives would appreciate her doing this and called it “a travesty”. He is estranged from Kamala (and we don’t know the full reason why) but that should be a huge red flag.
