This is a totally wrong pair of hardware. Tell me your budget. I suggest you the best hardware. Rtx 4060 is a powerful graphic card Ryzen 5 5600 is mid range processor Msi/asrock motherboard you choose is low grade. These 3 parts can't pair with each other & not give you proper performance.

What's the transfer speed for sn770? It's dram less ssd and uses buffer ram of system or something so it's interesting to see how it would perform in an enclosure.

WD SN 770 Black 1TB nvme m.2 SSD. Speed is okay. Type C connectivity 1.2 gbps/ 1200 mbps. USB 3.0 connectivity 0.8 gbps/ 800 mbps. It's okay as per price...

@@digi4t3ch yeah speeds are capped because of enclosure. If you use the ssd in a pc / laptop then you can fet 5000MB/s speeds even because to get to those speeds, ssd need to access system's memory to create a buffer. Speeds would be hit on an enclosure for sure. Unless you buy a high end one that supports HMB. Using it with thunderbolt port might also work.

Hi.. Thanks for your detailed review. The thermal pad is to be installed on the side of the chip and not the other side and you can find the steps on the FAQ on M2CASE page. The idea of thermal pad is to carry the heat to the case outside. If you install the thermal pad below the SSD it cannot transfer the heat anywhere making the thermal pad non functional. Great and detailed review!!

First of all thanks @piboxindia Secondly Thermal pad installation I already corrected. But I cannot reshoot the video. Because I'm not feeling well my health is down. Thirdly I'm not satisfied with your case performance. You mentioned case speed 5 gbps on usb cable & 10 gbps on type c cable. I tested on gen4 wd black. I got very bad speed which I don't like it. I'm planning to return the case. I got 350 mbps speed on usb & 480 mbps on type c. Same wd SSD I tested with asus on board m.2 slot I got a speed almost approx 5 gbps. It means you lie with your speed on the SSD case. Don't cheat a customer. Please mention the correct speed given by your SSD enclosure. Okay...🙏

@@digi4t3ch see the speed to expect section under FAQ depending on the port you connect to. This is a popular product and speed actually depends on port speed. You get 5 Gbps gigabits / sec or approx 450 mega bytes / sec on usb 3.0 cable. See this under speed to expect section.

@@digi4t3ch Please see the speed to expect section under M2case troubleshooting page. If you connect to a usb 3.0 port you will get 5Gigabits per sec / ~450 MegaBytes per second reaslistically. Also.. You will get ~980 Megabytes per second on a C-C usb 3.2 port. Hope this helps!

Gen3 ssd is supported in this motherboard. But if you installed Gen4 ssd it's also working & giving Gen3 level performance only.

You can install the minimum gen3 in this motherboard. But if you install gen4 ssd it also works. But you get the speed of gen3 SSD in gen4
