I agree about sampras. But not about roddick. Roddick’s motion was rigid and robotic. Very effective, of course. Sampras was very fluid.

Awesome tips, Coach Macci! Thank you so much for this super simple correction! I recently went back to playing tennis after a 10 year hiatus. I’ve been taking private lessons to get me back into the game. I’ve asked coaches to please watch and correct my mistakes so I can make faster progress and they’re having a difficult time. You’re amazing! I’ll just watch all your videos and save me a ton of money! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and wisdom!

I wish someone had put me through drills like this when I was a kid. We couldn't afford real lessons, but my serve action was close to this from looking around the courts. Anything that looks better than McEnroe and Becker will save your back

You can't teach greatness. It is a spark that ignites a fire. The fire then burns brightly though it can be short lived or snuffed out. Seb's dad's fire burnt for a while. Will Seb's fire burn at all??

There was a time when that was considered bad form. However, if you want to play instead of look good exhaling like that is helpful.

I was at this match in person. Roddick came out early oddly enough and was warming up his first serves. They sounded like bombs. I had no idea who Roddick was and I was there to see Sampras. This was also before Roddick changed his forehand presumably for wrist issues is my guess. Back then, his forehand was absolutely lethal. One of the most underrated players ever who unfortunately grew up playing with the big 3.

I started tennis at 20 yrs opd. Im now 22 and at a high level working my way through the ranks in the UK. trying to become a pro for 1.5 years bow seeing massive strides sticking to routines consutently every day. I see opponets that j verse that go to tennsi acedemies and are jn that professional environwmny. I cant afford to do that year round but would you recommend i go to a week camp at your acedemy just to be in that environment? Or are there other places tou recommend. I know i started tennis extremely late but i do have talent and j work harder than everybody. What plan of action would you recommend to me as right now i am just part of a local tennis club where other players arent teying tk make it pro? Thanks
