I have had the luxury of being able to have a veterinarian come to my house it was because my dog was just a brat and trying to drive him in the car was difficult because he loved going for rides but he did not understand personal space and you know I didn't want to wreck but it's hard to find a vet who will come to your home and they are amazing when they do

Oh, that's nice. But the next year he pitched a game where he gave up six home runs, 4 of which were back to back to back to back. He went 8-6 in five years and only pitched a total of 128 innings in 130 games giving up 126 hits, 64 walks, and those 6 HRs in a game gave up the most home runs in the fewest innings in MLB history. and tied him for the most home runs ever given up in a single outing in MLB history. That's one for the record books. Six home runs in 2 1/3 innings. And somehow got paid over 2 million dollars in the process. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I really wish you guys would cut the commercials out. 99% of your viewers are not local to you, so they really do you no good, plus, they're so long and repeat twice, which makes viewers like me think about avoiding your videos in the future.

Hi please help, I have a cat who I got a year ago, and he was a stray. He is very aggressive towards other people. A few days ago I realized that he has some skin problems. He has a couple of abscesses and dry skin with scrapes. I treated his wounds with antibiotics but it doesn’t seem to help.... I can’t take him to the vet because he would attack the vet and be terrified. How can I treat him at home??? Thanks 🙏 I’m really worried

Dogs eat the weirdest things. One of my mother’s dogs ate a razor and a pin. The pin required emergency surgery. The razor was caught quickly and the vet got it all out with forced vomiting. That dog went on to eat a pair of nylon hose and a slew of sticks. It really was a dumb dog.

Regarding chinchillas, you stated apple treats to chew on..I am hoping that you meant apple sticks and not apple slices...fruits, veggies and seeds should never be given to chinchillas... secondly, carefresh bedding and any type of paper bedding WILL CAUSE BLOCKAGE AND BLOAT AND SHOULD NOT BE USED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Proper bedding for chinchillas is anti pill fleece, aspen shavings or pine shavings... Other than that great intro on chinchillas..

I always talk in a very calm manner around dogs especially. And I stay calm inside. Dogs smell the endorphins humans release and obviously hear audibly. Some of these episodes she’s talking in a dramatic manner to the staff and I feel bad for the dogs and the staff that are probably stressed a bit anyway if you feel what I feel when treating my patients. I’m a pediatric trauma surgeon so I tell all of my staff to never raise their voice and always talk like everything will be fine around the kids. Kids get startled easy and I just don’t want anxiety in the air. But some doctors I know are dramatic and they don’t have the insight to see how destructive it can be. Maybe animals are not bothered by it. I know my dogs if I talk loud or have any anxiety they will respond and I’ve got friends with service dogs with ptsd and the dog knows they are having anxiety just by smelling and feeling stress in the leash.

Oxbow food is the most unhealthy food you can feed a small animal. As a vet of all people you all should already know that. Especially if your good at tour job. Pretty messed up hearing a vet recommend such garbage food. I'm honestly suprised when I heard Oxbow food.

I wonder how they managed to put a mask on a small hamster for surgery? 🤔
@ChaosMagnet
@ChaosMagnet 3 жыл бұрын
Easy, actually. The normal mask for a small animal muzzle is used, and a latex glove is pulled taut over the open end and fastened with tape. A scalpel is used to make an X shaped cut in the glove, and the hamster’s head is passed through that cut. The glove keeps the anaesthesia gas in the little plastic muzzle mask around the hamster’s head, kind of like a miniature oxygen tent. Vets are real-life Mcgyvers!

Well, they did say in the first section about her that if they could take down the inflammation and infection in the ear...I am guessing they did deal with the infection, but just did not show it on camera. I would rather talk about the 'sterile' surgery where the surgeon had gloves and a mask on...but nobody else did, including the assistant who had her hands all over the sterile field. That is not a sterile field, just saying.

I feel the same way about that remi getting his leg took off that was extremely un called for. I would sue the vet if it was my dog. I would see if there was other options first and or go to another vet. I would 😡😡😡😡. I really feel sorry the dog Having to adjust to his new life. I hope he can adjust just fine and Archie is just the cutest I'm glad he is doing better

Please dont ever stop making these. I’ve been in college for two years pursuing a bachelors in science with a major of veterinary technology. I’m at a stage where I’m eager to get into any animal workplace to be with animals and make some extra money but I’m from the south and it’s hard with the exterior I was born with. I’m going to be updated my resume soon using some experience I’ve had from school so far and hope for the best. The way my school is we take core classes and veterinary classes. I’ll be the first to finish college soon and my mom is enrolled in a different college online and will be earning her degree soon to. I’ve realized that I needed to take my vet studies more serious and have been working on that part of myself. These videos have made me so happy and motivated. So happy and motivated. I would do anything to be in a clinic and learn hands on but my studies will do for now. Now I’m getting emotional but this is only my third video seeing from this channel and I want to keep going always. I had a zoo growing up and loved all my animals and only wish I had all the knowledge in the world to keep them happy and healthy. I want to show myself and the world that I can do this. I’ve been afraid of even thinking about vet school because I’m afraid I won’t look experienced when I graduate if I don’t have a lot of working experience and a good gpa. But I would love to reach a point where I know every single cell tissue organ and detail of animals and maybe one day become a cool vet like the cool one here. One day I pray I can achieve my goals and reach a point where I’m happy and know that I know the ins and out of the animal world. I want to learn as much as possible and motivate and inspire others who grew up loving animals like me. I don’t aspire to be a vet or vet tech for the money I genuinely want to do this for life. I want to finish school with something and know that I learned and retained all I could. Hopefully someday I can have my own show like this and show people how to properly take care of animals, how delicate they care and more..

Okay, so a Peach-Faced Love Bird is in absolutely no way the same species as a Peach Fronted Conure...WTF? She called the Love Bird a Conure...And stop calling a Bearded Dragon's light a "UV" light, as that is exactly what confuses people and one of the main reasons they end-up with MBD, because their owners buy a "UV" light, which typically translates to a UVA light, and that is not what the need to prevent UVB or to manufacture Vitamin D3 in order to absorb Calcium...They need a "UVB light", specifically a UVB tube light, 10.0 output or higher, and preferably a T5 strength tube...And please never put them on any loose substrates, or buy ANY types of cricket "food" or "gut loader", and especially not cricket "Quenchers" or "Gels" that are supposed to hydrate them...Cricket "Quenchers" and "water Gels" are poisonous and toxic to the Dragons, as is most of the cricket "food" or "gut loader" you can buy in a pet shop...All you need to do to Gut-Load ANY live insects you want to feed your Bearded Dragon or any other reptile/amphibian is to put Crickets into a plastic tub/aquarium or if you are feeding live SuperWorms, BSFL, or Butter Worms they should be in a bedding of either oat bran or oatmeal, NO WOOD CHIPS OR BEDDING, and simply feed them the exact same fresh greens and veggies that you feed your Dragon/reptile, and then put an apple slice or two in for extra hydration (although the fresh greens/veggies will also hydrate them) and change the fresh greens and veggies out every day...Remember that your Dragon/reptile/amphibian is going to ingest/eat everything that their live feeder insects eat, SO NO PET-STORE-BOUGHT INSECT GUT-LOADER, FOOD, OR "QUENCHERS/HYDRATION GELS, AS NONE OF THEM ARE GOOD FOR YOU REPTILE/AMPHIBIAN, AND THEY ARE COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY WHEN YOU CAN JUST FEED THEM THE SAME FRESH GREENS AND VEGGIES THAT YOU ARE ALREADY FEEDING YOUR REPTILE/AMPHIBIAN (and no MealWorms either please, nothing but hard, chitlin shell that causes impactions, plus they are loaded with fat; stick to live Superworms that are the correct size if you want to feed a hard worm, no hard, chitlin shell and less fat. or even better feed Black Soldier Fly Larva (BSFL), size Large for even baby Dragons, as they are a soft-bodied worm that they can eat the large sizes of at any age, and they are extremely low in fat...No Mealworms, and Wax Worms only as a treat, and NEVER FEED FREEZE-DRIED INSECTS OF ANY KIND TO YOUR DRAGON, THEY CAUSE IMPACTIONS, CONTAIN NO HYDRATION FOR YOUR DRAGON, AND CONTAIN LITTLE NUTRITIONAL VALUE, ALWAYS FEED LIVE INSECTS TO YOUR DRAGON, AND LOTS OF FRESH GREENS AND VEGGIES, WITH OCCASIONAL FRUIT)... I hate criticizing Veterinarians, however they need to be accurate in their information...Calling a Peach-Faced Love Bird the same thing as a Peach-Fronted Conure is really pretty bad, they aren't even close, and telling people to feed their Bearded Dragons Mealworms, when they are very bad for them and cause chronic impactions due to their hard, chitlin shells, as well as Fatty Liver Disease due to their very high fat content and low protein content, and then the store-bought "Cricket Gut-Loader" is just unacceptable for an Exotic Veterinarian working in a major Animal Hospital and putting educational videos up on KZbin for kids and pet owners to watch...
