They wait for the bus B/C they have to...LOL! When the trains don't work, they certainly do...we're looking at one uptown run on the M10, which is the one as one of Manhattanville's XDE40s [from New Flyer] & the other run as a NovaBus LFS HEV (from the Volvo Group, who are also behind the Prevost X3-45s seen on multiple express routes within the city) is working another route we're not talking about here...the XDE40 in action on the M10 is heading towards the route's northern end on Frederick Douglass Blvd & 159th Street in Harlem, Manhattan & a little known fact about this route is - it used to run all the way down the island towards Battery Park City and later on West 31st Street [btwn. 7th & 8th Avenues] near NY Penn Station...there was a cut in early January 2000 that caused the scenario I just talked about to happen & a few years back [in late 1995], another cut on this route eliminated peak-direction limited-stop service, leaving customers to use the trains [namely the (A) & (C) lines] this bus route often compliments. If you weren't banned from using those trains, great. If you were, contact somebody ASAP & they'll answer, I promise you...back to the M10, the most notorious cut this route ever experienced was in June 2010, when it was cut a bit further from Penn Station to Columbus Circle, forcing [once again, can you believe this guys?] customers wishing to go further south to either use the trains [I left out the (1) & (2) Trains when I mentioned the lettered lines, necessitating me to go back there & put this here, 'nuff said] or the M20 bus, which doesn't run as often as the M10 on some to most occasions...SMH...LOL! That route was born from genes left over from the M10, take both buses & you'll see what I'm talking about...but regardless of what you guys think, everything you see on the streets is there for a reason, use your best judgment, you'll thank me later...and yeah guys, this was too long for me to post on a chat forum session (LOL!), so I had to leave it here...and two other things before I go for the time being - Frederick hates racism & slavery just as much as we do and to the ones who attacked the blind Governor very recently, y'all actually knew better & you two Nazi-like fanboys did that anyway? What a way to tell everybody that jail is just the place for dudes like y'all...I hope the sentence they get matches the crime they did exactly...and that's where I'll end things for now, one love, God Bless you all & peace out, everybody!

Couldn't tell ya. I haven't been keeping up with what sets are in service or not. I've seen the videos of a channel that is listing them pop up on my recommended feed, though I don't know if that's 100% accurate. I know more cars have been delivered in the 4300 range.

If I were the MTA, the five remaining XD40s at Jamaica would swap with Gun Hill in exchange for 5 2018-19 Nova LFSs, to match Queens Village

That ain't gonna happen for two reasons: The Xcelsiors Jamaica sent to Brooklyn depots a few weeks ago will be sent back once the (G) shuttle ends in September. Also, Jamaica is a depot used to train bus ops and are required to have Xcelsiors around as those buses are the standard used to train new operators. There's a reason why Jamaica kept a few Orions around before the switch to Xcelsiors a few years ago. I'm not sure why you want to mess with QV's fleet that was pretty much standarized with an all LFS fleet aside from wanting variety as a fanatic.

I think Quill and Tuskegee exchanged a few Novas because MTA wants more USB buses at Tuskegee. But these Novas are SBS-wrapped. I hope Tuskegee does not put an SBS Nova on the M15 local.

He got bad intel. The buses have NOT been confirmed to be at the vendor, assigned to Charleston, and to have those specific numbers assigned to them. A lot of people took that info without any verification for its validity.

@@Kingsbridgeviewer382According to TTMG, 9622 is a 2020 LFS HEV (TA), 5359 is a 2013 Nova LFS Artic (TA), and 5895 is a 2011 Nova LFS Artic (GH). It also says 5531-5602 are all 2019 Nova LFS Artics, and 9416-9499 are all 2021 XDE40s. TTMG is the only source of bus models I can find that is not Wikipedia-like. For every claim that is correct, please fix the roster. If incorrect, please let me know where you got the correct info from.

@@jadenmuniz8817 The problem here is that the people that managed TTMG have abandoned working on the wiki for two years now. I've used most of my info from people I know and from cptdb (which only lists build date for some units and others do have their model year listed).

@@Kingsbridgeviewer382 The only difference with CPTDB is the years for 5531-5602 are just like on your roster. Otherwise, they match what TTMG said. There are 10 2015-16 Nova LFSs to consider. TTMG says units 8433-8442 are 2016 models, but CPTDB claims they are 2015 models. Are you sure XDE40s 9416-9499 are 2022 models? I don’t know if the people you know convinced you but both websites claim otherwise. Not all MTA Bus LFSs are 2023 models. Here’s what CPTDB says: 8964-8973 are 2022 models 8974-9180 are 2023 models 9181-9271 are 2024 models
