I just watched videos on how to open them. I haven't had one since a classmate had one at school, way back in 1980! I went straight home and told my Mom that I wanted one, too. Of course she bought it but I was just as messy with it, as my classmate was! 😮 I saw some at Target yesterday and just had to have it, to relive that childhood memory! I will freeze 1/2 in case the memory isn't as fond as I remember!😅

@@DianaEricJ omgggg I was NOT expecting a response from literally anyone. Let alone you. WOWWW! Yeah that's mostly why I clicked on this video. I thought you were her. Y'all could be sisters. Thank you for the info. I'm doing number 1 right now. They're in the freezer on a plate and paper towel. Took forever to pull apart but that's ok. I will in the near future do number 3 of your suggestions and do the blender and Ice. I'm excited to think of all of the things I could put those cubes In, LoL.

Don't throw away the seed/core !! Its got many medicinal properties..(i believe they doing cancer research using this) simple one is to cut d cleaned seed in 4 pieces , add isopropyl alcohol to cover it in a glass jar n leave 24 hrs to 2 days or so. Apply to painful joints specially for arthritic pain areas. My old neighbor lady told me it wirks like magic n she always asks me to give her d seed🌟 I also saw that powdered form of d seed can be added in water n had as a tea..

I added a pinch of Sea Salt and used Half and Half instead (all that I had). This will go well with ham bits as well as bacon crumbles. Keep up the good work!

We've done a similar method but instead score around the equator of the pomegranate and then score down the white line of the membrane and whack it. We'll have to try this method too and see which one we prefer.

We froze a huge batch of pomegranate seeds and froze them. When we put them in the fridge though they turned mushy and not so great. 😢

I was hoping for a way to preserve them in liquor like bourbon or rum to flavor it but I don't know if they would get moldy if they weren't refrigerated. I know I could lacto ferment them but I don't them want them to turn out sour like pickles.
