I cussed the dude out on social media & text, Chris Stein. Called him a Satanist, and stuff, and then I was blocked by Blondieofficial, & Debbie Harry personally. It almost drove me to suicide. I didn’t mean anything I said to him, I was actually catfished by a fake Debbie Harry, & I took it out on him because I actually thought it was her the whole time. Next thing you know I’m blocked by him and pretty much by her and all her friends.

I’m actually 19 now, I was 18 when it all happened. I of course regret it, I never knew Chris stein was really a nice guy. I thought about sending fan mail, and get pictures signed, of my way of healing the heartbreak but idk

Circus and Arena had their differences in the 1990's. Arena was for Friday nights, Circus was Wednesdays and Saturdays. All the House dancers and voguers would be at Arena, and their sound system was much louder. They had a much better layout when it came to the stage for performances. Circus was just IMMENSE, and the sound system had way more bass. The outdoor setup with bbq, food and places to sit and chill was bomb. It wasn't until 2000 or so when they began to utilize the upstairs section for dancing. So they had three types of music for you to enjoy, and it was awesome. Arena stopped gay nights and started having special events for the gays. And so the Arena crowd became much different. East Hollywood was much grittier back then, and kinda sketchy so you had to be careful if/when you parked on the side streets. I'm grateful I experienced it.

*¡Sin Andrés Bobe, "la muerte" del grupo se fue dando de manera gradual, pero irremediable; nunca volvieron a retomar su esencia... fue como quitarle, cerebro y corazón a un cuerpo!* 😥
@DVDBW

I’ve been a super fan since 1978 . I’ve been to 65 shows and been backstage many times. Even drank and smoked with the band …and I LoVEd this. So it most certainly was not awful. It just went over your head.

I don’t mind the original, but there are too many rappers on this one. It’s a bit of a mess. It's almost like there's been a stage invasion. Fair play to them for not being predictable, but for the big comeback in front of the American public they perhaps should have played it a bit safer. The priority at this point should have been to sell records: to do that they needed to do a more accessible song and have more focus on Debbie. If they were sick of "Maria" they should have played "Under The Gun" or something.

Blondie completely captured the raw emotion, velvety finish and glorious escalation of the song to crescendo !... Debbie's voice, Jimmy Destri's Synthesizers and of course... Clem Burke's exquisite drumming. What a supergroup !
