Let us know how you get on with the battlecruisers i am wondering myself. Not yet picked up the new starter set/UCM core ships but i have thought the same thing. The new Battleships look cool, I only have the one battleship and it's the New York tried to magnetise it but it's the sort of thing that needs pining so it's glued, was going to pick up another but decided to hold off and see the new battleships. I sure would like to see more missile turrets i would use them on all my ships as they would be a great proxy for everything. Law wise they could be used as ballistic, energy plasma missiles and can use a blue die on the base for energy and red for ballistic. Hope either they come out with a weapon pack or if someone 3rd prints some I'll pick up a load. Good review all the same.

Shame that kit is no use for the Belgians , as their Leo 1s never had the extra turret armour , same for their A5 version .

@@lesp1964 you could leave of the side armor for the turret. the only thing you would need to do is add a bit of plastic card for the sides of the back basket. you maybe even could use the included armor for this, just get rid of a bit of material

I think those are 3,000 pound bombs, not fuel tanks. I've been trying to get the mavericks to go in the 3-stack and have had no luck getting them to fit on my assembly.

na, 3k pound bombs are way way way smaller. the big missile shaped thingies are fuel tanks. you should check the revell instruction for the modell. the instructions supplied by battlefront are wrong. you basically neet to flip the attachement thing around. the pins go into the parts that are attached to the wings. the missiles are glued flat onto the missile holder.

@@EricStephens-z5o sadly there is no instruction for them yet. but in general: 1 Rifle, 1 Grenade launcher, 1 MAW 1 Smaw per stand. this will leave you with one odd base with only rifleman basically. i have a video on the channel where i go into more detail about this

These videos are exactly what i was looking for a few months ago. I think it would be nice to see things like the storage rack on the turret being assembled. Maybe a quick clip of any problem like the windshield on the HMMWVs and stuff like that

to summarize: always get the marines. you will basically get 2 mech platoons + extra marine sprues for each box you buy of the platoon boxes sold seperately

ive just built some m901 and found that the magnets work fine if you use the 5mmx1mm ones

@@children_of_cadia exactly, thats why i would recommend some greenstuff in the turret. i am still thinking about how i will paint them. i somehow want to do a digital camo with black, white and zandri dust as base colours. i will do a test model soon-ish and look how it works. maybe even to a painting video

Just for info , if any unit in your force has TOW 2 , any unit that has that option must be upgraded as well .

I Noticed with the LAV Company card it says that it has 1 passenger slot, but with the new Marine Rifle Company starter force box the 1 passenger slot has been removed.

@@lesp1964 sadly it happens from time to time. battlefront customer support is stellar though and they will surely sort it out fast. i had a similar issue with a different starter a year ago. its certainly rare to happen. its more common to have some breakage. i had the infantry from the bulge american starter broken in half at alot of legs. battlefront replaced that very quickly aswell.

@@maliceharding4668so there is a reason for this. the bmd really is an infantry fighting vehicle. the lav is a scout vehicle. in game the troopers that would be doing the scouting are never represented ingame. but if the main use is transporting infantry it always has a transport capacity

@Sazurius the LAV 25 is an IFV and it holds 6 passenger also the marines were using lav based infantry formations in Panama and Grenada

@@maliceharding4668 i know that. i just talked about the in game reason for it. units with scout and spearhead that would normally have infantry in it to do the scouting job are just the vehicles. dont get me wrong, i would love to see marine infantry riding in lav. its a simplicity decision for the game which does not reflect reality
