Thanks so much! I just found out that I have a gluten intolerance & needed some tips to get started. However, I’ve read that it may be best to go grain free, as I am pre-diabetic too, so it would mean no corn either. Either way, this is a great way to go with the container and all!

Hey ! Your right eyelid seems to be drooping down in this video . Please get it checked , usually this is seen in 3rd nerve palsy ( ipsilateral eye movements will also affected in this ) or horner syndrome ( ipsilateral pupil constriction and anhydrosis ) or myasthenia ( drooping more with exertion i.e increases as day go by ) . It can be normal too but please get it checked .

What if your fasting is consistently high (100-115), but when I did an at home OGTT and it was totally normal. 102, 132, 111. I can't seem to get a straight answer out of anyone. My doctors laughed at me when I told them my fasting numbers have been high. Didn't seem to care at all in fact.
@ossamaiqbal7650
@ossamaiqbal7650 3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Your impaired fasting glucose test means your liver is becoming increasingly desensitized to insulin and it dumps lots of sugar into your blood stream overnight when youre in a state of fasting. Your normal OGTT means your muscles and other organs have adequate sensitization to insulin so thats good news. However, IFG puts you at a higher risk of developing diabetes later in life. In order to prevent that, the usual recommendation is moderate exercise and weight loss. You can maybe talk to an endocrinologist for better guidance.

I have been eating chia seed pudding for years. It is outstanding!!! Instead of cocoa powder try cocao powder. I think it has a better taste and it has a better nutritional makeup then cocoa. Some of the nutritional value is lost during the heating process as cocao is processed into cocoa.
@eatsbyapril
@eatsbyapril 7 жыл бұрын
So cool Sergeant! Do you have a brand of cocoa powder you prefer? Funny - on the tub of cocoa powder I have it literally says "cocoa" and right below it "cacao". Which one is it guys?! lol
@SergeantFit
@SergeantFit 7 жыл бұрын
It all starts from the cocao plant. Raw cacao powder is made by cold-pressing unroasted cocoa beans. The process keeps the living enzymes in the cocoa and removes the fat (cacao butter). Cocoa powder is raw cacao that has been roasted at high temperatures. Unfortunately, roasting changes the molecular structure of the cocoa bean, reducing the enzyme content and lowering the overall nutritional value. Your package says cocoa but also says cocao, because the ingredient in the cocoa is cocao, it's just been processed into cocoa. I use Navitas organic cacao powder. Cocao is more expensive than cocoa, but I think it's worth spending a little more in order to get the maximum benefit.
