Have you tried ordering a female online? If Lee's Exotic Birds is in stock of them, I recommend getting one from them! I got my diamond dove from them, and he's an amazing bird

There is a lot of water around, but they do need to also walk to find water. Already the elephant population is big, and it is all a delicate balance to protect the ecology.
