Like all scholarly conferences, some of these lecturers severely overreach their ideas and here, it is really difficult to find the points of some of them. They are clearly responses to her work more than what they really know about her and her work but my god, if my work gets this kind of examination once I am gone, make sure I don't get to hear any of it. Having said that, love the talk of Moyra Davey. It's more human which is what Francesca's work was!

It took me awhile to warm to Mr. Katz. His ability to distill the essence and emotions in his landscapes are amazing. Not an easy feat, I’m a big fan.

absolutely love it. Hope I will see a big Kandinsky exhibition one day too. As I am living in Dessau as an artist I often visit his former studio there, one can really feel his soul in the house he lived and worked in.

Absolutely fab! With screen printing, you need to be careful of the registration (alignments). Can't imagine the level of skill they have to do it on a vertical surface! Mind-blowing work

If it makes you all sleep better, the robot is always powered off every evening during closed hours. The robot was actually really well-maintained to serve its purpose behind the scenes. The robot did not actually 'die' from a hydraulics problem or an electrical problem. It was intentionally unplugged by the artists.

This kinda reminds me of addiction in that at the beginning it's good times and partying and by the end the thing you think you need is actually killing you and there's no fun any more...

Interesting composition and presentation which works well with the new logo. But unfortunately, the logo is corporatized in its subtlety. It screams "Guggenheim... sponsored by Google."

Robot arm featured in Can't Help Myself is suppose to remind everyone that even the seemingly-immortal will eventually bleed out and decay. I'm sure based on their conversation here, that there's a sort of political representation somewhere ("Robot replaced humans under Chinese workhorse, but even then we demand it works itself to death for our benefit, despite it." as an example, I'm not sure), but much like most art, I always appreciate leaving things vague, so everyone can make their own meaning.
