At the beginning the curator mentions that as collectors they have a "mandate to collect" and to preserve. She says nothing about the responsibility to display the art to the public and it's obvious they don't recognize that responsibility. I 100% disagree that they have a "mandate" to collect art just because they are a "collecting institution". The real motivator here is greed. I die a little inside when I see all these artworks filed away in the dark where no one can see them.

I'm from Pakistan and its really amazing to me how much respect is given to great artists in western countries. They are seen as a civilizing force, like a saint. Their right of expression is preserved and their efforts appreciated.

So… it was never leaking just given the idea to everyone that it was it had a task to sweep the fluid close … until they eventually unplugged it…
