This is a great song I would rank it in their top 5. The drums stand out for me, seems like they have a bigger punch with the unique clear drum set. Maybe it's the double drummers

Great song. Well done guys--And so many years later. I must also admit that I'm especially partial to the slap bass.

Love and miss the era. Strange Advance-Worlds Away, Red Rider(Neruda) are two of my all time favorite albums. Both albums always took me far away from my reality. Got through the greatest decade thanks first to God, and then there was you guys...

Minimalism is GREAT when done properly! They seem to understand this & still do it (We Run) in this style (understated), which is perfect.

He looks and sounds timeless. I encourage everyone to go down the rabbit hole of Canadian music over the decades. So many hidden gems!

My god they sound fantastic. Flies me back in time, flew out to Vancouver for months of 7 day weeks rushing to get the Ontario Pavilion ready for Expo 86. It was a time of so much music, and MuchMusic. Much simpler times. How did Drew not stay front and centre of Canuck New Romantic music for decades, and suddenly reappear like this? .

I may be wrong, but I think I told Drew that this track plays as good today as it did forty years ago. I stand by that.

Recorded this old school lofi from the radio in 1983, there was a local (small town) dj who played this song, never heard this in the big city radio markets, so I got it while the getting was good. Regrettably, I stopped the recording before the dj cut in to say the band and song name. Over the decades, I forgot, but treasured my "off the air " mixtape, didn't manage to reconnect the dots and find the band name until something like two decades, and several different www searches, later.

This song haunted me for two decades... all I had was the melody and title lyric, and before the internet all I had was maybe record store catalogs and searching through all the bins just in case it was a title on the cover... and then finally KZbin arrived and at last I could hear the whole song again from start to finish. AMAZING SONG that encapsulates an era yet still connects powerfully today.
