I was thinking about what games changed my life, whilst watching this. At 37, there's lots to chose from. Might have to make a video myself. But a few that I can think of are probably, Fiendish Freddie (This was my Dark Souls growing up), a PC game called Gorillas, where it's you v the computer or a player 2 & you're two gorillas on top of buildings throwing bananas at each other. The first player to lose their health or have their building destroyed loses. This game actually helped me with math. Then there's Pokemon Red, final Fantasy 7,8 & 9, Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, Goldeneye, Tony Hawks 3, Resident Evil 2, Metal Gear solid, Call of Duty: World at War, Dark Souls 2. So many that I could list

I'm guessing most people have said to play FFX before FFX-2. One of my favourites is 12, which everyone says it's pretty much Star Wars, but in Fantasy. It's really a good game, but very different. I think the game was released a head of it's time, as the PS2 wasn't ready for that style of combat. If you like PS1/2 style horror, have a look at Crow Country, it's heavily inspired by PS1 era. There's another game coming out too, called Alyssa I think it is. Another PS1 style game. If you want PS2 style horror have a look at Tortured Soul, which is inspired by OG Resident Evil & Silent Hill or the Daymare series. Daymare was originally a fan made Resident Evil 2 Remake, but Capcom Remade RE2. So they made their own IP. It's a bit clunky, but I really enjoyed them

I don't think these are considered Shovelware games, but two you should keep an eye out for are The Punisher & Scarface games, if you don't own these already. Jaws might be a shovelware game, but worth adding to your collection, especially if you like Maneater? If you do get round to playing The Thing, you should watch the film first. As the game is a canon sequel.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer games. I love the sims games for GBA.

List gives me so much nostalgia!! Cars was heat, over the hedge heat, sly cooper heat, jak and daxter heat, robots heat, ratchet and clank HEAT.

Jak & Daxter Trilogy for sure easily a favorite franchiseof mine, plus Jak X Combat Racing and Daxter, DO NOT PLAY THE FINAL FRONTIER. Ratchet and Clank are great too. I personally could never get into Sly cooper though. A must play in my book? The Prince of Persia Trilogy, such an amazing trilogy with such fun gameplay, way better then assassins creed lol Devil May Cry bangs also, though the 2nd game is kinda wack tbh. God of War games are always good if youre feeling brutal and into greek mythology lol any of the games in the Legacy of Kain series are great, im particularly fond of the Soul Reaver games from that franchise and the just had a remaster announced. Need For Speed Underground 2? Legendary game, so good. Thats all i can think of atm. Oh i was personally always a big fan of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai games, so fun, it had a final installment that not alot of people knew about at the time called Infinite World and it was SP FUCKING HARD lol they SPIKED the difficulty for that game so hard lol

There’s six games in the Jak and Daxter series. Jax X is a racing game, Jak and Daxter the lost frontier is different, it was made by a different developer so it’s one of those games, the Daxter game is dope.

I’d highly recommend Fire Emblem: Awakening on the 3DS as your first game in the series! That was my first, and it’s probably still my favorite of the few I’ve played! Also, as far as Skyrim goes, I honestly don’t think you NEED to finish it! It’s my cousin’s favorite game of all time, and he’s never beaten the main story. In my opinion, Skyrim is at its very best when you just kinda play it by ear. Just do whatever you feel like at any given time! If you want to explore and unlock more locations on the map, do it! If a random NPC’s quest sound interesting, go for that! Really just do whatever you feel like in Skyrim, and I can guarantee you’ll have a good time :)

I have a ps4 slim to haha i got one back in 2016 when they first came out. There usally 500gb i think. 4 games that really like are, Fallout 4 GOTY(best game ever) Red dead redemption 2, horozin zero dawn, god of war. Ive got heaps of other games on it it but those were the ones i really liked haha. Ive still got black ops 2 on my ps3 that i just fixed, black ops 2 is the best cod ever

Jak and Daxter are a must play. Ratatouille was my first ever ps2 game, it was included in the ps2 i found on a flee market. Had so many scratches we couldn't get passed the first sewage level, but we played that level like 30 times, everytime holding it would have resolved itself 😭

Ice Age 2 and Monsters Inc are also worth a play. Also Futurama and Family Guy

I also am an advocate for horror games ... And I'm all about the underrated titles ... "The Suffering" on PS2 is a classic ... It's like a more action oriented Silent Hill and takes place in a prison... Fighting monstrosities as well as your own psyche 👻💀🎃

Rogue galaxy is a great game

Yes, I do like playing old PS2 games. I do have a couple of them. I used to play the PS1, but something happened to it where it was in my basement and it was rain had come into my basement and the PS1 broke. We tried fixing it, but it was fixed, but I carried on playing on PS2 and I some of my phone memories playing on the PS two were missing tonight for Nickelodeon Nickelodeon SpongeBob, SpongeBob SquarePants Nickelodeon game kingdom heart attack volcano Island firework Chronicles might match more. Those were some of my classic PS 22 games that I, truly cherish as a child and I also cherish Scooby Doo as a child too, and I did play the Harry Potter PS1 game when I was growing up

The Ratatouille game was amazing I’m currently on the hunt for it but just recently purchased family guy, Over the Headge,and Pixar Cars which are all great games can’t go wrong with any of them

The Over The Hedge and Cars licensed games were fun ps2 games I remember playing. Kingdom Hearts 2 is my all time fav ps2 games I always recommend it You said all the games I commented, but I’d add the game Taz: Wanted about Taz from Looney Tunes, I played it in Xbox as a kid but according to google there is a ps2 version!

I actually just copped the x files ps1 game recently and it looks so cool but i think it’s a different kinda game from the ps2 one??? Also, I just watched The Thing for the first time a few weeks ago because they announced the remaster for the video game and i always heard good things about it so im stoked! Sick vid btw, as far as licensed ps2 games go, you can’t go wrong with spiderman 1 or 2 ✌🏼🕸️!

For Kid Icarus I'd recommend putting it on a stand it helps so much, I've got a switch one that is designed so you can put the cord in while it's still in the stand but that also gives enough room for my hand. You can't change the controls to be better unfortunately, you can get a Circle pad pro but you have to import it and all it does is give you a left handed option.

Final Fantasy is in a sense, not connected to each other. I'm still a little confused about it myself. I started with Final Fantasy 15. I then went to Final Fantasy X. Really the only way to really understand which is a sequel is like the Final Fantasy X-2 which is basically part 2. Final Fantasy VII is a big deal in the community that I see most. My personal favorite is Final Fantasy VII Remake since I never played the original Final Fantasy VII. Crisis Core Reunion is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake series. Final Fantasy VII also has a tie in movie sequel too with Final Fantasy VII Advent Children which I like too.

have you ever played the Nicktoons games? Nicktoons Unite is alright but Volcano Island is actually really good, plays way better than Unite but it is a sequel so if that matters to you, you can do one then the other also there's two games/series that I would call a must play for PS2 owners, and that's Shadow of the Colossus and the Metal Gear Soild games (1 - 3) these games are available on modern systems so you don't exactly have to get them for PS2, but really just play them however you can, they are so worth it

Haunted Mansion and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Chaos Bleeds are really good.

Spider-Man, King Kong and Buffy the Vampire and good licensed games. The Incredibles, The Bee Movie and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as some fun shovelware games 😊

Also wanted to mention that you can really tell how much more comfortable you’ve been talking on camera recently, you’re absolutely crushing it🎉

Im so freaking excited for more video game movie nights they're the best!! Sly cooper games are amazing and if you're looking for some ps2 recs I LOVED the sw episode 3 game for ps2!! Battleront 2 is also a classic, devil may cry, tony hawk, crash bandicoot series (BANGERS), burnout series, and guitar hero!! I have a ton more my cousins and I used to play on ps2 but I think you'd be into most of those!!
