Also, some people who gaslight will pretend you never said "no", or act like they misunderstood you and still expect you to do whatever they asked anyway. In this situation I usually then give in and my "no" gets disregarded
@vassiasar

It's really hard to get through the gaslighters, I know 😪 The thing is that eventually, we end up abandoning ourselves or even worse self-gaslighting. Stick to your boundaries, Eleni. And even if they don't remember or they misunderstood, whats more important is that YOU remember very well and in any case you have the right to change your mind and say no now. 💪

What do you do if you're not worthy of being valued or loved? Or your at least not able to provide enough value to really justify love?
@vassiasar
@vassiasar 23 күн бұрын
@cedricburkhart3738 that's the thing about worth: We are born with it, we dont need to earn it. We ended up believing that it's a reward after we have proven that we deserved it, but actually that's not the case. All human being deserve love unconditionally. 🧡

@@vassiasarWell don't you have to have something to offer in order to have a relationship? I understand that baby's don't really have to do anything to be scared for but I think it's different when you're older.

Thank you for the video. Many blame this attachment but we are daily subject to narcissists, sex addicts and immature, outbursting ppl. I would say we re-enact relational trauma so first step always has to be our emotional and bodily safety. Unfortunately, i never found a therapist nor a social worker to know the red flags or help me set boundaries. Cbt only focuses on self, but relational trauma can't be healed just by ourselves. I really joined many summits and that's what most coaches were saying.. it's sad that so many therapists blame us instead of seeing that narcissistic abuse irs not just childhood trauma, it's reoccurring and affects all life areas, I'm even unemployed for this reason ( being blamed, rejected right ftom the start). Only after one person feels safe, he can work on building self-trust , self- compassion. It's a shame how uneducated Europe is regarding attachment treatments, especially regarding the bond between narcissistic abuse and fearful avoidant, instead i was told I'm too sensitive, demanding, crazy, defensive but they didn't once cared about my safety 🛟 not when i was stalked and abused... Just now I'm trying to work on self-awareness, these therapeutic abuses took unnecessary years. All rhe work i did on myself was hubdred times better, the online courses, all summits sbout attachment theory. Just follow your instincts, sometimes it means to help yourself if nobody able to help you. I learned to detach, stop reacting, set boundaries, defend myself and read ppl and so can you. 😊 Lastly, to the questions from the self-awareness part , they imply having a secure attached person as a partner. You can't dance Salsa without a study partner either. exactly that's what the experts were saying in the summits, self-work and therapy is always good but it heals only with a willing exercise buddy so to say as this attachment is relational trauma, ot started there! If one finds such partner is rather luck, i wish i could communicate with someone but there's nobody still. Perhaps we need to practice it with other close ppl instead i don't know

Yes mam, I know that I have to study but still I am always waiting for perfect time to do that....I am studying right now...and I cannot study well because of this kind of behaviour...I miss many opportunities too...Even more when I study I always daydreams a lot...I create some fake scenarios like I get good ranks in exams and getting so many awards...and I spend hours in this situation...I always thought I have to study perfect and practice some questions but it never happens...even I study thoroughly I can't perform in exams...even some students who don't study like me...get good results... I always wait for perfect moment perfect time...perfect place to do everything so I procrastinate everything even knowing how much important that work is...

If you know, why do I wake up sometimes very tired and sometimes with energy? Even though I sleep around the same time
@vassiasar
@vassiasar Ай бұрын
Waking up tired can be so frustrating, and there could be many reasons behind it. Mental health factors like stress, anxiety, or burnout can mess with the quality of your sleep. Physical reasons like sleep apnea, low iron, or thyroid issues might also play a role. Also high caffeine or alcohol consumption or excessive screen time before bed. As a psychologist, I can share these possibilities, but I’m not your psychologist, so I can’t know for sure what’s going on in your case. I really encourage you to talk to your doctor or therapist-they can help you figure it out. If you’re looking for support, my team of psychologists specializes in mental health challenges like this. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more-we’re here to help. www.antiloneliness.com Take care-you deserve to feel rested and energized! 🙏😇

By judging myself all the time I blocked any chance of improving and achieving my goal. I sabotaged myself from succeeding and lived a life of mostly regrets.
