I have an RV roof mounted AC, with a beverage cooler, 4’ prep, 5’ chef base, exhaust fan, counter top steam table, lights, electric water pump, the trailer draws around 30-35 amps if everything is under load at the same moment. The AC is definitely worth it, especially if you are parked overnight, when you get in for morning prep, it’s nice and cool. It also takes the edge off for the gals running the front of the trailer, and for me, at the flat top, just enough to keep me from roasting.

I built a food truck partly because of your videos. You took out some of the uncertainties I had, which helped me to get moving. I’ve had it since 2022 and it does me pretty well. Thanks

I would love your input. I am planning to build out a trailer for my coffee business. It doesn’t need to be big like a standard truck since I am doing coffee pastries drinks etc. but how crazy is it to mount a shed on a flatbed trailer for this? I would like my trailer to look more like a house than a standard cargo trailer.

Wish there were more content 😄 I’m from over the pond, and like yourself I took on the challenge to build a food truck from scratch, without any real DIY skills, and what a journey it has been. Thanks to KZbinrs such as yourself, I was able to learn certain skills and gain confidence to go at things myself. I started the project back in 2021, and I’m still no where near completion. I don’t have a channel or a blog of all the hard work I’ve put into this, but I did take a good amount of pictures. if you’re on Facebook, I’d like to share with you a link of them and would really love it if you had the time to give them a glance through and give me your honest opinion on what I have done so far. I bought the bus not knowing the amount of rust eating away at box tube framing that was hiding underneath all the panels. So right away the project took on exponential increase of time and money overal. I woefully underestimated the amount something like this would take to complete, hence the set back of it not nearing to any kind of end date. So yeah, very quickly ran out of £££. I’m continuing but at a very slow pace! Keep up the good work as it keeps me inspired to continue with my project and not hand in the towel.

Can a 5’ exhaust hood be installed in a 16 x 7 trailer with 24” framing in the ceiling?

Ok, thanks another question can my propane tank be to close to the intel for my generator, I have my brake box on the back of the trailer(close to the tonge) so I hva the outside outlet in the middle and like to set the propane tank there,I don't know if is safe or not,u have any idea
