Hi there, I noticed that you have a GK2A mounted on your Gliseentar. How does the GK2A work with nylon strings? Thanks for any information you care to share!

Hi-I modded the Glissentar to be tuned lower ADADAD with *steel strings-I use D’addario Chromes .011 set. The string pairs are doubled on the basses in octaves like a 12-string steel string(use .009,.010,.011 depending on pitch) The bridge has been reinforced with screws going in to the body and on either side to prevent lifting by master guitar tech Steve Olson at Elderly Instruments. That’s how I’m able to use the Ebow on it too If you don’t want to go through all that, there are some Thomastik sets that are low tension steel strings KF110 and KR116 that may or may not work with the GK I used them in the past bfre adding the GK Double courses are supposed to glitch, but It tracks “ok” even for melody, I’ve used it occasionally for drones
