1996-97,Sheikh haseeib ,umer max power who had chrome rims 17 inch vault ,body kitz civc vti 1.6 ,tariq , rasheid ,hasham sarwar and asim ,khalid naeem ,zahid vti k20 nos,and myself we started races at macdonald gulberg lahore ,at the time when fast and furious part 1 was released .haseeib and asim race was owsum.back in 1999 at gulberg macdonald ,when asim stock civic vti vs haseeib modified civic dropped vti both 1.6 but asim stock won by one feet gap.yes that was the time when there was a huge scene of races at macdonald gulberg lahore .on every Sunday evening.main cars were 1995 civics to 2000 civics 1.6 vti ,gli 1.6 corolla,1.6gti baleno ,honda city neo 1.5 .zahid vti 2002 who had swapped k20 type r with nos at that time.

Admin plz guide. I was driving 2003 Primeo. 2litre. I was doing I guess 50 or 60 kph. The car drives very smooth and is pleasureful. However today I had to bring it to halt (0 kph emergency braking). The ABS was active since I slammed on and the car didn't skid. However I think the braking distance was not to the mark. I was 20 ft from the next vehicle and when it was imminent to collide I used the concrete dike along side the road to rub the car to halt..... Am I wrong in concluding that I) the tyres were not to the mark 2) ABS could be faulty 3) Brake pads could be gone 4) official distance the car takes idk. References: the person next to u in the intro has been my teacher in 2018.

There are a few things to unpack here, braking deceleration depends on the following factors: 1. Coefficient of friction between the tires and the road surface 2. Brake force distribution - essentially which tire is providing how much braking force. This is the theory, in practice, there are a few more things to consider: 1. You said the ABS was functional, did you feel the brake pedal kick back slightly? That is the ABS system engaging, it basically removes your foot pressure from the equation and drives each wheel's brakes separately (ideally) 2. How long ago have the brakes been serviced / replaced? 3. Would you happen to know the age of the tires you have on the vehicle? 4. Would you happen to know the tire pressure in each tire? Thing is, ABS works very well in general, it's just that the tires need to be able to grip the road too. ABS systems maximise tire braking grip *that is already there*. It can't generate any extra grip.

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!

Leider wird bald in Deutschland die Bundesabgasbespaßungsverbotsverordnung (BABVVO) das Fahren von Verbrennern in der Öffentlichkeit außerhalb von nachweislichen Berufspendelfahrten und Transportfahrten schon sehr bald verbieten, da dann Abgasbespaßung ein Verkehrsstraftatbestand sein wird!!!!!
