It seems like a charming small town. I wonder what the locals are like. Also, if you want some peace and quiet away from the city Yucca Valley is the place to go.

Yes, very charming, and with very unique national park for hiking and exploring. The people are charming and friendly.

@@BeanCruisers It was a car break-in before I got my van. I came back and the doors were both wide open. It was a horrible feeling and a valuable lesson.

Portland is a garbage city. Sorry that happened to you. Not many people in Portland are from Oregon anymore. I hope you meet plenty of the friendly, hard working and helpful helpful people we used to be known for. Safe travels!
