i am very confused, i have had for a few days an issue where my pc would crawl to an halt doing anything, then i figured the entire windows OS was using only one core, and whenever it would max out everything would freeze, usually you dont need to tell the os to boot with all cores cause it does it automatically but after an update it would only use one core, no idea why

Just keep at it man. For about 2 years I only had 1 core out of 4 enabled, Thanks for the tutorial!

side note for peripheral apps on start up, you only need to enable if the device does not have onboard memory. My razer viper V2 pro has onboard memory so i disable synapse on startup, however for logitechs mice they have onboard memory but ghub does not change the onboard memory and needs to be open, I much prefer using logitechs other software called onboard memory manager.
