there is much synchronisities and afffinities and similiarieties between indians and africans, drums, dancing, music, rythmns, bright colours, gold, bling, and great food! Even the animals and plants!

⁠⁠@@edres7563 true and in the case of this song specifically, the tassa drums used are goat skin which highlights the similarity in beats even more. Nowadays the tassa used are plastic and metal face which makes a harsher sound that drowns out the small nuances that the old Indian tribal beats were developed with in mind. Those sound close to African rhythms for reasons too long to get into in this already long ass comment.
