I saw this group on Cape Cod. Johnny A. channelled each of their famous lead guitars in turn, early clapton, full Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck without anything but a white Gibson. version of a strat. Amazing performance, medley after medley. a much tighter show than anyone did in the 60s or 70s. Just amazing.

Went to YARDBIRDS show in Sacramento, CA , Crest Theater last night. Have seen them 3 times. Best show ever. JOHNNY A is the best .

Don't know who set up the amps & gear but they did a pisspoor job. ZZTop are amazing live but this was awful. You can barely hear them.

Open air festival sound, not a lot to do with stage amps, you can see there is a stiff breeze from some of the flags which doesn't help as it strips the sound, put that with the narrow bandwidth of a smart phone recording and this is what you get.

The guitar sounded great in the field on the day, though I was a fair bit further forward and there was a lot of wind.
