Great work lads. I still cannot understand why SEPA do not protect habitat around the burns and lochs by imposing a ban on conifer plantations, say within 25 yards.

We need to keep an eye on these government and university agencies. They have been caught deliberately poisoning salmon runs in Canada. We have to look at who pays these individuals.....kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZi5opmMitFjack

We need to be vigilante regarding these government agencies - they have been caught deliberately poisoning atlantic salmon runs in Canada. Don't believe me? Here's the video...please share. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZi5opmMitFjack

Please....just leave our rivers alone. They need NO intervention from corporate funded university people to survive. And we know - you guys love genetically modifying God's creation....so your game is up.

Most salmon don't make it back to sea, however a small percentage will. All the underwater footage was shot on gopros. Thanks for watching!

Theres a huge dam on a Dee tributary at Peterculter, pike and reasonable sized trout in it, they installed a fish ladder and in 2014, a couple of years later they were trapping smolt on it. Theres a couple of dams about that have the same potential definently. Least most of our estates are new and we dont have the sewage discharge to the same extent as the towns/cities.

Lovely to see Salmo Salar making it back into rivers after the long dry summer and early autumn. I hope they spawn successfully as all salmon on the rivers of South West Scotland, and ...nearer home North West England and Wales Viva Salmo Salar💚...and clean rivers Simon Artley ,Manchester

We're not the biggest fan of dams and weirs at the Trust for a host of environmental reasons however they do provide an opportunity for viewing!

Yes,the trees must take the water, too, that would otherwise flush the stream.I'm very surprised at how near to the stream trees are planted. Not much would be lost by the foresters, surely,to leave a bit of space.Interesting.Cheers!

Great work , very enlightening. A passionate salmon Fisherman it’s very interesting to know about the deformed smolts . I reading reports also that on reaching the estuary where salmon farms are present, the smolts have no fully formed scales being wiped out by sea lice infestations from the salmon farms . All very worrying , keep up the very important work you do , It’s the salmon farms that are having a devastating effect on both returning salmon , young smolts migrating from the rivers . It’s happing in Canada Ireland . Land based tanks for Salmon farming is the answer? All fully filtered no pollution to estuary river system , more expensive but what prices are paying . Great work , I hope your receiving lottery funding support , Or some support supports or your vital work ,so important . Tony

You can use the wheel as "plate" also. But be aware, if you have removed the big axle nut the wheel bearing might seperate. The whole unit might be so stuck that the inner bearing will losen and come off. I just had to change one wheel bearing cause of this. (when changing discs)
