That flask is so cool, got one for Christmas last year! It's just got a great feel to it, great size and shape. Dave C. says do NOT use it to boil things in, the cap won't seal properly. It's strictly for whatever liquids you want to pour into it. The shape makes it disappear into your pack or even your pocket but it's a little heavy. Should last generations.

The one thing that makes your channel unique is that you try to make your own gear, which is truly what the craft in Bushcraft is. Making your own firebox is outstanding! I’m not a bushcrafter, but I love watching bushcraft videos. Keep them coming bro!

I've been carrying a 'Jack Bauer' canvas messenger bag for about 10 years as an EDC. It has served me well. I'm thinking of going to a back pack for several reasons - more space as I've maxed out the Jack Bauer too many times and the ability to wear it comfortably while covering some ground (never had to with the messenger bag but not comfortable after a while).

They're great and the most balanced and lightest model which is what you want in a true tomahawk. You will have to regrind the edge and resharpen because the edges are absolute trash stock. But not a long project. I eventually want to grind down the hammer poll into a spike. Then flatten out a side cheek to use that part as a hammer instead. If you know what you're doing, you can split a lot of wood pretty well despite it's size and weight. Use the deep penetration as a splitting advantage.

Do you wedge the top like a chopping ax?
@neesbushcraft2 ай бұрын
Nope. It's just a friction fit, so the handle is just slightly thicker above the eye and it just slides up snug. Makes carving a new handle from a branch super easy.
