I miss that epic video game 🎮 🕹 show. I haven't seen either Rob Lavender or James Wu since the show has been canceled and eventually stopped rerun it. It's been years ago and they still hasn't returned on television 📺 ever since. What happened to them? Where are they now?
@Poita10 ай бұрын
Hi Martin. Sorry I missed your comments from a few years ago. KZbin didn't give me a notification about them. The show was a one off season. Look out for this channel where I'll upload all of them over the next month or so. Did you live in the Boston area in the mid 90's when the show was on? Rob did a lot of other TV work and now lives in a southern state with his family. Sadly, James passed a way a few years ago but is fondly remembered.
@martinmoore246810 ай бұрын
@@Poitaok 👍 👌. Thanks 😊. James Wu was the great co-host and a very good sidekick.
This assessment was such bullshit. The Thompson was NOT designed to 'Spray and Pray' and more over a COP was explaining the employment of Military weapons. You couldn't have found a retired USSF dude to show you the Thompson? WTF? The Thompson was used by soldiers and Marines in WWII with extreme effectiveness in short bursts. Just look at "Pacific" and "Saving Private Ryan" there are multiple scenes which clearly show how effective the weapon was when properly engaged. This video is idiotic.

So, if the Tommy Gun's recoil-induced upwards-jump throws your aim off by a foot, you need to compensate for that by aiming a foot lower from where you want the bullets to impact on the target, if you do this then your hit-ratio is most likely going to get better.
@simonkormendy849 Жыл бұрын
He should have upped the rounds per minute and opted for an M134 Minigun instead of the Thompson, then he would have increased his hit-ratio to about 9:1.

It's _AWESOME_ to see somebody playing Tekken at the Arcade when it JUST CAME OUT. Back when nobody knew what it was, or who the characters were. I love watching videos like this, if only the narrator knew that 28 years later, this franchise would still be around.

BS. Whose gonna just sit there and let 50 shots go without stopping. If you are going to compare 50 full auto non stop shots from the hip then claim panic. pull the semi auto trigger as fast as you can and shoot from the hip also. Not to mention the Rifle platform you are using originally came out with full auto selector also. You let off all 50 shots off the hip ignoring the sights entirely claiming spray and prey is due to panic but then no panic with a rifle? Carefully aimed shots are more accurate? Ya! With EVERY GUN including the Tommy.

It is 2 different objectives, a full auto is to get the enemy to stop firering and for you and your team to advance, you can control the tommy better with good brust tirgger techniques

I was been wondering what had ever happened to both Rob Lavender and James Wu. I haven't see them on TV for many, many years since even after the show was canceled.
@Poita10 ай бұрын
The show wasn't cancelled. It was just a huge amount of work for one person to make. I would have made more but the nature of public access was that there was almost no feedback from the viewers so it was hard to know how many people were watching it. Did you live in the Boston area? And to answer your question, James passed away some years ago and Rob lives, I believe, in Georgia with his wife and children.
