I was running a Trex-Arms Ironside OWB holster in this video. I recently bought a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite AIWB holster and will be switching to that.

@@Tacticaldripp This was IDPA so they are all the same Division - Carry Optics. In USPSA I shoot the same gun in Limited Optics.

Muzzle exclusion zone. IDPA rule. Your hand and gun can’t be in the red box at the same time.

That sucks, but it will happen. One of the reasons I have a flashlight mounted on my pistol. I can use the bezel to open the windows without risking a DQ or pushing by slide out of battery.

Sorry about the DQ! As it is said, there are two kinds of shooters, those that have DQ'ed and those that will. It happens to all of us if one competes long enough. What was the cause of the DQ? I'm not quite sure from what I can see in the video.

Wow, I don’t shoot idpa just uspsa and am an RO. I did not see a DQ. You didn’t sweep your hand. I’d get DQ’d 10/10 times doing what you did. That’s pretty dumb.

I have not seen one specifically advertised for this pistol, but the slide cut “looks” like a standard 1911 slide cut.
