@@mr.allenmath Yeah! It is about the same as the 84 CE, but it's a bit faster. It can be a bit harder to find and get used to, so I would always recommend the 83 or 84 (ce) Both are good!

Mine does not show an horizontal bar on the fraction when going for option #1. Instead it shows a forward bar, and it does not work as a normal division. How to fix it? Its a ti-84 plus version mp55.

I ended up just creating a number chart, [0, 5] & [2, -1] I them plugged that into my calculator and then found the x intercept and got 1.67, and I have no clue if this is right.

I’m saving this video to my roofs folder. I’m going to watch this several times over. is this to figure out the height for a roof one is going to construct versus determining the height you want the roof at ? I hope I made sense .

@@TEXAS.N8V this is to calculate the rafter length. And keep in mind, this is just the “theoretical length” you still have to consider ridge thickness, overhang, and things like that

Hi all, I'm struggling with my calculator and hope someone can assist me. Every time I try to access to the fraction entry screen by pressing 'ALPHA + Y=', it takes me to the Plot screen instead. I've tried resetting it multiple times, but the problem remains. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have the TI-84 Plus
