Pat , we all have our options , this college football playoff system isn’t bad but with twelve teams makes me want 16 . Then u pick up Ole Miss, Alabama , etc…… Anyway , 2025 Hogs schedule week 5 on 9/27/25 in Fayetteville, Arkansas your Notre Dame Fighting Irish come to town . I couldn’t frickin believe it . What do u think about that ???

i think it’s awesome but the schedule is hard enough. i don’t believe the hogs have ever played the irish. i give the hogs a real shot.

@ I’m trying not to google it , I was thinking seems like maybe we played in a Cotton Bowl . ND qb was a #2, Tom Clemons . It was either Hogs or Nebraska. I’m trying to remember 50 years ago . Easier to google . Are you just up late most nights , working , or what ? When is the best time to call .

I think strength of schedule deserves a much higher value than it gets now. It's easier to say " your W-L record is better than their W-L record -..so" -- all Ws and Ls are not created equal.

While I am not on board with the whole "woke" culture thing, and, I have never heard of this channel before. I am very impressed with the stance you are taking in this matter. You are correct! Just because a team is a conference champion doesn't entitle them an automatic placement among the 12 best teams! It isn't right to put, let's say an 18th ranked team in the field of 12 simply because thy are a conference champ when the conferences aren't equal!! It should come down to who are the 12 best teams, period. I liked and subscribed. Good work👍.

I am using my wife's account to answer you here... But I was in college at Oklahoma in 1977. Your account of everything here was dead on. What is funny is that during the game Saturday I realized that one thing was missing... and that was the Texas Band Cowbells. In the old days, all game long the Texas band would chant "Go, horns, go"... ringalingaling. "Go horns, go"...ringalingaling. That was imprinted in my brain from watching them play all those years ago. And even though I despised that chant growing up. I didn't hear it Saturday. And it kind of made me sad.

Pat enjoy Hog game , I’ll be looking for ya on tv . #11 SMU there better than that in my opinion. Love Rhett Lashley (coach) he played high school at Shiloh Christian in Springdale . Broke all the passing records . Great guy . Nice fit if Pittman doesn’t last much longer !!! Go Hogs ………

Do u remember those brothers we played with in the neighborhood? Last name was Easley ? I remember Ronnie but there 2 more boys . Just curious if u know of them or talk to them any ?

Pat glad you’re doing this but predicting these games is something I stay away from . Point spreads are evil & so are those that set them . A heads up check all Floridian teams . Hurricane Milton is bad . Airports closing & games may or may not be played .

I went 3 wins, 3 losses, 1 push in this wacko - I got Texas AM to win, Hogs to cover, Washington to solidly knock off Michigan, didn't get the 'upset of a generation' in Vandy, missed on Oklahoma State and Iowa. Push on Nebraska - What happended to Bama- who knows- will forever be a mystery.

Pat u didn’t mention Texas A&M really . U said your taking the hogs . I agree but key situation here is who was A& M’s OC last year , Bobby Petrino , now for the Hogs OC . I’d stay away from betting this game but somebody’s getting an ass kickin !!! I wonder how many personal fouls will be called . It oughta be a great watch . Go Hogs !!!
