You could add a 1" wheel spacer to even out that side. I had the same problem with my rear axle, a full inch diffrence so i added a 2" wheel spacer to the left rear wheel and added a 1" spacer to the other side and front on stock rims and it turned out good.

@@johnmullaney458 you may be close to the cab mount without aftermarket UCA. They correct the caster bringing wheel forward, away from cab mount.

did you have to cut wire and/or splicing into the factory harness? I had to do that on my 2003 Tundra and it sucked so I was hoping on my new to me 2015 model SR5 that I wouldn't have to cut wires or anything like that

I have always had poor results when going aftermarket on brakes, especially with toyota. OEM pads are always the best. Not even sure why you are doing brakes yet. Your OEM stuff still has 50% life. I guess you needed to make content for content's sake. I'm out

There are several online test and while Toyota is near the top, and pretty incredible for most, there are a few better options but at significantly more cost. Toyota makes a great product

i went out of state to buy my 05 sti because i wanted no rust etc but when i took the wheel liners off it was packed with mud and sand like theyve been off roadiung lol. im ok with that because the rockers wasnt a spec of rust. i went through and scuffed and undercoated the whole underside and wheel wells with 2 part epoxy primer and herculiner. that shit is so tough and is amazing for undercoatings.

@@DIESELLBZ same pads and rotors. Got a slight squeak but may just need clean and relube. I would def buy again over OEM for sure. Maybe 15k miles so far.

I have watched many of these Dasaita Install/reviews. But nobody mentions hooking up the factory GPS Antenna. Do these head units have Satellite GPS navigation? The car play is great but everything is cellular based.

@@samsonitejones4012 Yes, there is a gps antenna that comes with the unit. I only use CarPlay but it does have gps antenna with its own nav.

Thank you for posting this! I just did my own brakes (pad replacement only) on my Subaru BRZ, had my Tundra in for an oil change and they suggested pads and rotors for my rear brakes - a 2020 with only 35k miles. Seems to be a theme with these dealers. This looks super similar to the Bembo BRZ job I just did. Off to buy parts. They quoted me $600 for the parts/labor. Booooo

I have recently been having issues with Zlink (Apple CarPlay) in my Tundra. It randomly stopped working. I have tried searching and trying everything but cannot figure it out. All bluetooth still works so I think it is an issue with Zlink. Any suggestions?

Man I’m jealous. My 06’ sti I picked up to resto has completely rusted out rockers underneath the side skirts. I realized it when I went to jack the car up for first time and pinch weld disintegrated to rust dust. The car drives and runs so good though 🤣 I’m just gonna have to buy a welder and do my first rocker panel swap

I installed it. I have 2 issues: the air bag is giving me an error. And the rear speakers are not working. There are some 5 connections from the tundra that don’t fit anywhere in the unit. Can someone please help?

@@RoadPatina yes, it is that bog box. i took it form the other set of cables and put it into the correct one. the air bag issue was resovled after i restarted the vehicle. the issue with the speakers still remains. it seems is a common problem. Also, i use a USB port to listen to my MP3s which im unable now to find this source in the unit. IS there a place where i can choose the usb port?

It is compatible for a front, just unsure who has done it. Factory HU is as well, YT channel Wheeling Full Size installed something around 8 cameras on his Tundra

Just installed and the main issue that might be a deal breaker is can’t figure out how to get the front door speakers to work also the eq doesn’t function normal . Only the front settings changes anything . If I mute front all speakers mute anything else does nothing

@@markmargevicius5717 No. The XM receiver is the lower box on the factory head unit, which has multiple connectors going into the upper unit. This new head unit replaces the entire factory head unit. Others are saying you have to use the XM app on your phone. Deal breaker for me...
