i'm using the Logitech one right now and I like it. The trackpad is extremely responsive and I like the smaller size of the keyboard. Also this keyboard weighs next to nothing. I just wish it was backlit. I guess the K830 is backlit but I think that model is discontinued because the only listing I'm seeing on amazon has it priced at over $300.

Just so people know, the ms one does have end, home, page up and down on the arrow keys if you hold the FN button. They just aren't shown.

Microsoft: If you lost the receiver, then threw away the keyboard. Logitech: If you lost the receiver, then just need to buy a new receiver / USB dongle.

I'm coder person. And external touchpad feels comfortable than a mouse. But I'm so anxious about using it cuz your right hand might touch the tocuhpad. Is it useful for daily using?

Depends on what are you using I would say for tv there is no better choice, but if you are going to use it for pc I would suggest separate keyboard and mouse because when you get good at using them it's miles above touchpad and it's easier to chose because there are a lot of different companies and they all have different feels and if you want an even better feel you can get into mechanical keyboards which I use everyday for typing, because you can get a really nice fell when you type.

Excellent review. I have them both, I paid £10 for the Logitech and £6 for the Microsoft keyboard. The Microsoft keyboard feels better but the logitech keyboard has the on/off button that helps a lot.

For me this comparison is not like for like and pricing that you don't look into the software for the Logitech keyboard as well. It van be customized a lot. The fact that they Logitech has dual mode is a big advantage. So for me this comparison is not correct.

Thanks for the review. You might like to try using a noise removal filter and volume normalisation in the future (need to record some silence as a sample for it to remove), or grab a BOYA M1 mic. Great content.

Just got it. Been charging for an hour (no longer flashing), powered off and on but can't get my Samsung S8 phone's Bluetooth to show it. What does it show up as? is the dongle or extension usb cable required? I can't use the dongle because I need my single usb3 port for hdmi out. Do I need to deinstall an air mouse I have installed that was not turned on?

Yes it will work. Some Windows specific keys may work differently on Mac however.

I have both. The K400 has decent travel but horrible key feel, mushy af. I'd take the MS AIO anytime over the K400

nice review. Is it possible to switch between bluetooth and unifying receiver mode? i have the UR connected to my computer, and have paired bluetooth to my smart TV. but when i turn off keyboard, it goes into UR mode, and only way to connect to TV is to re-pair the bluetooth. is there a button to switch between the two? thanks for the review.
