That's the Roman source written by Ovid. He wrote several reiterations of Greek myths specifically to slander the Greek gods. The first ever Greek story written by Hesiod states she was already born a Gorgon. Not only that Poseidon didn't assault her. The two were actually lovers.

Depending on the story he 1) kidnapped an unwilling bride who got Stockholm syndrome 2)met a gal, courted her for a bit and took her home against her mom's wishes 3) got offered an arranged marriage and took it, while her mom was not consulted by the one arranging it (Zeus and probably Hera since she was supposed to be in charge of marriages). In some versions he's not so bad when he wife her up 😅

Supergiant Games' Hades is the most accurate portrayal of the Greek Gods except for the fact that Zagreus was actually Zeus' child and not Hades'. Also Hades doesn't even take the dead souls, that is what Thanatos is for. He just manages the Underworld like some CEO trying to run a company. One that is also portrayed in the game Hades

Yeah, and it's not like you're going to "Hell" you have 3 options: Elysium (VIP heaven), the Asphodel Meadows (Basically a coma), and Tartarus (Pit of Doom) so it's not THAT bad

Nah, Athena knew it was Poseidon chasing after Medusa and used the rape in her temple as an excuse to punish and later kill Medusa all cuz her beauty made Athena jealous. Zues was blatantly obvious with his excessive lust and wanting to screw everything with ovaries but he was open with that crap.
