Reading some of the comments and replies I find many people that are reading waaay too much into the Chosen story. They are forgetting that "artistic license" is merely a story telling technique to help the audience "see" a familiar subject in perhaps a clearer light. I wouldn't suggest clergy to preach from the Chosen, however it hurts no one to learn from a Christian perspective from the Chosen. This story line, to me, actually encourages those who know the scriptures to delve deeper and find the scriptures can come more alive. Those who aren't familiar with scripture are encouraged to start reading it. And that's a huge plus in any Christian's world! The part of Mother Mary has a much larger part in the Chosen, than it does in scripture, and that may seem to give it a more Catholisized bent. However does that make it wrong....who knows, only God. Look past your prejudices and just enjoy a wonderful stroy about the life of Jesus Christ. Then go read your Bible!❤😊

I have a necklace with a beautiful, little cross. It wasn’t expensive but it is really pretty and I really like it. The lobster clasp kept coming undone and I always thought I’d lost that cross and while I was sad, I figured whoever found the cross would be blessed. Well guess what! Every time that cross has fallen off my neck, I find it! Every single time. It’s like it was meant to be mine. Now, I won’t wear it until I get a new chain.
