What makes it expensive is because of that unnecessary dual channel abs. Although it is nice to see that they are trying to incorporate abs even to their small cc bikes.

How's the quality of this motorcycle? This is a Chinese company right and most Chinese products are poor in quality usually. How about this motorcycle? Is it reliable, durable or will it be able to take long rides on tough roads etc. I hope it is as good as those Japanese or even Indian bikes.

Hard to say from just a test ride. Build quality feels about standard for this price point. I’d recommend joining SRV bike groups to see what long term owners say.

I mean yeah, this has enough power to get you anywhere with enough pull in traffic and in open highways. This is enough even for two people on board in case you want to take a pillion with you. There's enough power to overtake with 40 bhp and huge torque as well. Then why do western people own those bikes with 1000cc, 1200cc etc. this 400cc has enough power already and especially with the light weight which makes it easy to maneuver and to take it anywhere. Also not to mention one of the most important advantages that it is lighter on your wallet too. May it be fuel consumption or service budgets. You will save a lot on fuel as fuel these days is very expensive. So why is it that western people always prefer big bikes for regular uses? That is absolutely absurd. In India most people even own 125cc bikes for daily commute. And that makes sense for going to office or going out for a coffee or a movie or to a mall. You're not going to travel 500 miles with that not going to the mountains. Saves a lot on fuel as it will give you about 30 to 40 miles per litre. And every servicing will cost you only about 20 to 30 dollars. One full tank of 12 litres will get you about 350 miles, which will last about 10 to 12 days if you travel about 30 miles everyday from home to office and back. Will you own a 1000cc bike that weighs about 450 pounds for daily commute to office? I don't think so. Even if you do, will it be more convenient or owning a 150cc smaller bike that weight just 300 pounds.

This bike looks way too similar to the Morbius 250 by Wmoto that was released a few months ago in Indonesia, it might be the same bike but got rebranded when it got here. Some differences I noticed are the rear fender + the brake light, different handle bar, the mirror, the headlight, and lastly the wheel design. I loved how it looked overall, but the wheels is just not for me. It'll be the first thing I'd change when I got mine.

My speed 400 would not start the first day that i got it. Got it to the shop and they i guess fixed it and now it is doing it all over again and it is back in the shop again. I made a video of what it is doing on my channel. I would turn the key to start and and got nothing, i would then turn it off and turn it back on and it would fire right up. It does this ALL THE TIME!!

It's an extremely boring bike. I really don't understand why they released the bike and how they're positioning this in the market. The 4 cylinders GSX-S750 is much more fun. Another competition is the CBR650R, which is again 4 cylinders. Both are cheaper than this crap. It doesn't even compete with other twin cylinders like MT-07 and Duke 790 which are much more fun. This bike has nothing going for it. There's no point to it.

@@ptiscool3334 The fuck are you on about? The CBR-650R, MT-07 and Duke 790 are very popular and highly rated bikes. The GSX-S750 is easily Suzuki's most sold mid range bike. The fact that the GSX-8S hasn't sold much and you don't see it much on the road tells a lot

Speed 400 has sintered brake pads whereas Scrambler 400X has organic brake pads - that is the main reason why the front brake on Speed 400 feels so much better than that on Scrambler. If you put Speed 400's brake pads on Scrambler 400X you will see marked improvement in the braking of Scrambler 400X.

Man, here in indonesia i bought this bike almost double the original price about 109ish million IDR or around 6800 something USD due to 250++ cc bike taxes, while in india i heard them sells it around 50 to 60 million IDR or 3700 USD, but still I've no regret whatsoever, i like the fuel efficiency, torque, modern retro design, its basic feature (means less maintenance for a lazy guy like me 😂) ergonomics for daily commuting and at least less heat on my nuts 😅
