They killed Lord Jesus for claiming to be God. Islam reduces Lord Jesus' status to prophet and says He didn't die on the cross, which is totally against core Christian beliefs. Islamic core beliefs are contrary to Christian core beliefs; two absolutely different messages. Salvation came through the Jews and that salvation was Lord Jesus. Believe and call on the name of Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.
