The game's resolution doesn't appear to be 4k! Go to your game's rais folder, open the software called: nglide_config and change the resolution

You know what the doom community you would think somebody would remake this to a certain degree using the doom engine and just add more to it. Also RIP Richard Molt who does the voice of the main bad guy. I enjoyed him in this game and other things that he did such as Night Court, The adventures of Batman and Robin playing Two-Face, and Freakazoid doing Vorn the Unspeakable..

Does it use some alternative lightmap renderer? Lighting seems like it's using global illumination, which wasn't present until Q2 :)

The correct game title is "Blood UE5" and not "Unreal Blood" because it is confusing with a mod of Unreal 1998, example Unreal Blood Mod People who don't care about the game title While we're at it, let's also do Doom Blood and Quake Blood I think Unreal Blood Mod already exists for Unreal98

Without that stupid motion blur it looks actually promising to me. Highly depends how the monsters would be made. Sprite Monsters to 3D is where most remakes start to fail

I notice old school era games have a miniature tiny look now. Back then I didnt see it. In modern games they use way more textures. And this generation the enemies and npc's look bigger life size. In Dying Light 2 the zombie look big with tons of detail you can see coz theyre life size, y'know. I love it when you mix & match old skool with modern. Like indie developers do it.

This look great but it's somehow generic and clean - the whole "blood" vibe is kinda missing. Perhaps with more decocations - blood dirt etc - and adding more brown and bloody red to the whole color pallete of the word would give the effect.
