A way to help multiplayer is to add a small bonus to your party for increased resources and drop chances.

I started playing a few months now, so still relatively new. I'm glad with the fishing one, I started doing that for fun, just pulling out my fishing line to give a random player a boost, but I had no idea it was a known Palian etiquette, so that's good! I once found a FT gorge some weeks back, and didn't know what to do except call it out as I had seen ppl do (I could cut them at this point), but I couldn't understand why everyone was hitting each tree once and then sitting down lol. I explained I was new and what do we do, and no one explained T_T. So I just ran around with everyone and hit a tree over and over looool, until a few more ppl came and suddenly everyone was chopping like mad, then we collected, then everyone said thanks and left. It felt like a whirlwind xD. But I still didn't know much, so I'm grateful for videos like these, thanks! But now I realise to be more alert when I hear strange sounds in Bahari lol.

I can snap the floors but it doesn’t place fully underneath my shipping bin. 1/3 of it will actually go under and then everything is red

I JUST started playing Palia a few weeks ago, and I love it, so I hope it survives. There are some things that bug me about it, though. 1. I don't like that I'm limited to 8 storage chests, nor the fact that fished up chests are unusable for storage. One thing I've found about many of these games from World of Warcraft to Stardew Valley to Minecraft is that stuff builds up FAST. You can place as many chests as you want in a little game like SDV (though it may affect your framerate). Same in Minecraft. Problem solved. WoWhas that issue, though. They added void storage and, more recently, warband bank tabs for more space while making transmogs possible so that your favorite outfits don't clutter up your bank space. I quickly hit the cap for storage in Palia, and I'm constantly rearranging and selling stuff I was saving for gifts or recipes. It's very frustrating. 2. Same thing with garden plots. If I want a farm field, let me make a farm field. There's a limit of 9 plots. 3. I haven't quite reached the flow wood part yet, but it's starting to look like something you HAVE to do with friends. None of my friends play Palia. Most of them don't play video games at all. I'm a solo player. It's my little retreat, and I don't like games forcing me to group up. GTA Online used to do this a lot. They've changed it so that you can do more in a private session, now, with different kinds of sessions depending on your situation. But you can't do everything, and some missions would be eay easier with a friend. There's a lot of things you can do by yourself in WoW these days (maybe too much), but most of the end game stuff requires groups. I don't have a problem with groups; I just don't group up a lot. (And I don't have anyone to group with). 4. I wish there were mounts, but your character runs pretty fast, and there's some fast travel options, so it's okay if there isn't. BUT, if Sing6 puts them in... I wanna ride an ormuu! 😀 5. I wish they hadn't laid off those people. That sucks! 😕 I hope this game doesn't die. I just started and I like it a lot. I'm excited for Elderwood!

Having only played for a few weeks, I was dreading the community-driven aspects of the game but they have turned out to be my favorite part. I swear there is no rush as good as flaring a huge pal node or finding the grove first and telling the server. It’s like the best game of hide and seek.

The way I miss the old Cake Parties. I used to make on average 200,000 gold per party of 50 rounds.

I loved the Horizon games so I'm very excited about the Lego one. (It's pronounced with a hard A and ends with oi, btw). Fabledom looks like a more cartoony Manor Lords so I might look into that. Mostly looking forward to Tales of the Shire, which is supposed to be holiday 2024 too.

I'm not a huge fan of these unspoken "rules" in games. Because, often, it's just some "rules" made up by the earliest players. If this is the type of gameplay the devs want, then they should include this in a handbook for beginners at the start of the game. Especially, now, when you can party up, it gets annoying to wait for others in the server to do the grove or flare all resources you find, or wait until random people in server also hit the sernuk, etc. I also don't get the big deal about the grove - it happens fairly often (real time), you miss one, there's always another. Flow trees spawn randomly now. It's not that rare of a resource. At this stage, I'm drowning in flow wood. I usually skip the groves because it's annoying to wait. Or I'll hit them all once and peace out until the loot bags appear. I've had people want to wait until like 5AM. No thanks!

I really wish that they made the flow trees like the mining nodes where each player has their own node. It is a pain waiting for people to show up, it makes gathering rare materials take longer than it needs to be. Especially if no one shows up at all. For the bigger trees, they could make it that you need the highest tool tier to chop it down. Or they could add special items that give you buffs that the player could craft.

I think my favorite is the search bar! I went in knowing nothing of this update and at first thought you said the Louis Vuitton furniture set LOL.

A few cozy games that I love that aren't farming Sims are Schim, a game about an adorable little shadow creature jumping from shadow to shadow; story teller, a cute puzzle game where you get prompts and have to solve those prompts by laying down rooms and characters to create the story the game proposes; and stonehearth an amazing cozy voxel city manager where you where you try to create a thriving city from a small encampment but you can customize everything if you like or use blueprints. This last game was abandoned when the studio got bought out but a large group of the fan base created an authorized expansion that brought everything and more that the devs initially promised!

I like the day legnth to be honest. I go to bed late most days and feel like I've done a good days worth of work unlike in stardew where unless I'm in the mines will probably be in bed at 4pm. You dont lose resources when you pass out either so it doesnt matter if you fudge it. Oh I ignored the warning to go home? Guess ill go fishing instead of mining.

Tip if you’re running out late from the mine if you have the perk when you go up quickly go back on to the first floor then out again and you’ll have a speed boost for a few seconds

I love Mistria. It's the only farming sim that has made me feel the same way Stardew did. I don't like comparing farming sims to Stardew, but Mistria rekindled my love for the genre. There's so many great things about this game, and I really can't wait for future updates!

A different perspective, you actually don’t have to do any of this. You can literally play this game however you want, the devs encourage it.
