Thanks Greg, reality it's that I still fly as a kiddo I end up in difficoult and danger situations because I lose the picture of the situation.. I've lost the visual with the 2nd bogey and then realized it was behind me..(The guy you don't see will kill you) and fell perfectly into their trap! I hope I will improve my awareness but in VR it's tough

Thanks Kojak, I should have closed the fight just after the egg but I was pretty shure that the fox2 would have not tracked.. at the deck I had to improvise but the barrel roll inverting over him at the end it worked! that is a great move to use when dealing with a bandit forcing you to overshoot and I'm really happy to have learned it from this campaign! Now I still have to learn how to land this thing properly I think I should listen to your VFR pattern while sleeping too at this point

Much much better, well flown! When you are the engaged fighter in dragging, all you need to do is a gentle turn, keeping him at your 7 or 5. It’s much easier for the free fighter to line up for a shot, than if you’re forcing him to turn hard. Same when you shoot and miss, and you swap roles and become engaged. Just extend, force him to fly straight. The engaged fighter’s job is not to kill the bandit but to make it easier for the free fighter to kill it. That’s the whole point of loose deuce

The free fighter - this time it was you - is supposed to go up into an egg, not throw away all the energy turning. You need to follow the briefings in order to make the most out of the campaign and get really efficient in the F-4

Many thanks for your help! I didn't get that the egg was a mandatory option for the free fighter.. I've tried it the first times but I always ended up losing the visual contact and screwing everything..so I've tried something different

@@Crazy-Bear-Gamer-Channel in some cases extending is ok too, but better get used to the egg because on the next hop it will be essential. In hops 2 and 3 you should already have mastered how to do an egg while keeping your eyes on the bogey. Loose sight, loose the fight as they say

Nice flying! A note: left to left means left wing to left wing. As on the chalkboard drawing. Also, in later exercises with many bogeys, slowing down may cost you your life. If you overshoot, or it's not looknig good: go up into another egg and try again rather than getting slow and high AoA

yes I know I messed with the merge side, I'm not able to make the turns at the proper angle every time and some times happens that at the merge I'm not where I should :( I need a lot of practice! after the first egg things went pretty messy but the trick of rolling over and barrel roll gave me the chance to fox2 with success..this campaign it's teaching me a lot!
