Even before seeing all the deleted scenes, I was sympathetic towards Shen. I was just i think in highschool when I first saw this. When his weapon started falling, and the last expression he had made me ball my eyes out. I was literally ugly crying back then. And now I'm seeing this, I'm crying even more 😂😮

I heard from another video that apparently, the soothsayer was a caretaker of Shen when he was younger. Notice how throughout the movie as much as he gets angry at her he doesn't do anything other than that. He has never once harmed her.

The fourth deleted scene is so much better than the original. The original is just explicit text "your parents didn't love you hehe", some basic doctor evil crap with evil delivery. But in the deleted version there's more subtext. Shen is reflecting the feelings about his parents on Po. And he's acting more genuinely which would've worked better at lowering Po's guard. KP2's biggest mistake was replacing that line with this simple one.

Yes! It will be available to download, although it won't be as complete as we hope for, because minecraft doesn't allow us to have many decorative options, like furniture (except for mods, but we don't plan on use that). Our plan is to build it again (this creative version is like a blueprint for us to use later), yeah, again in vanilla on a server that has a LOT of vanilla options for decorations, and I really mean a lot! I don't wanna spoil much tho :D

Awww sorry for this late response, but at the time we made that video, it took us about 1-2 weeks (not weeks as in total, we worked on the castle around 1-3 hours during a few days, then took some breaks to play something else :D) also thanks for the compliment!

Shen is so well written and drawn and Gary Oldman was a master at bringing him to life with such depth. There aren't many perfect villains but Shen is in that group
