Heat tape alone wasn't enough for me. Mine froze up without the added pipe insulation. Though, maybe my heat line doesn't heat up enough. It doesn't feel all that warm.

I need to do this to my front top window but I'm afraid I'll find water damage to the wood once I remove the window. Then what? I'm leaving in 2 months and I'll be gone a couple of months. Afraid to get into it and have it interfere with my trip but I'm afraid if I don't address it, I'll get stuck with some heavy rain and water keeps coming in. Ugh!

Thank you. I have heat tape but never installed before. Woke up to frozen water somewhere so it's time. I have the heated hose plugged in so either connection into trailer which I think or faucet or both or underneath because my skirting isn't up yet. I've been trying to hire help

Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I ordered a 12-24V 40Amp Resettable Stud Type Circuit Breaker Fuse Holder 40A,Crosswise Bracket from Amazon. Before I replaced it I checked voltage and got 12v on one side and nothing on the other side. I replaced it with the new one. Switch works fine now. After I installed it I checked the voltage again and get 0 on both sides with the new one but switch is still working. Is that normal or did I do something wrong?

Can I ask why my earlier 2000's wildwood fifth wheel camper would have completely filled the bathtub by itself, obviously by backing up through the drain, however I never use it, the gray tank has been empty for almost 4 days, I don't shower here because I don't have hot water. I barely use gray water in three months. But it is also in the floor vents! The heating ducks on the floor have several inches of water and the entire entry area, steps and vanity/bathroom area are completely soaked that there's over an inch of water in the carpet! Do you know what could possibly be causing this? There's not a leak in the roof or anything that would've done this, and we just replumbed it three months ago with pipe and fittings! Don't understand.

I also was without DC power for our fridge and thermostat for a few days. Finally found that the lug for the 15 amp fuse for them was loose. Going to tighten them up before each trip.

Thanks to your video I was able to locate the breaker that was causing my 12v system not to work. I have a 2011 Rockwood Ultra lite 8280WS 5th wheel. After searching all over the camper and not finding the breaker I went to clean out a birds nest in the actual hitch and located what appears to be a junction box and low and behold the breaker that was tripped. Hey, Austin. Great video.. I have an old 1990 Winnebago chieftain 36'. My dash lights aren't coming on. When I pull the light switch the headlights come on no problem but the dash doesn't light up. I tried rotating the the knob to see if the dash light would come on or make it brighter to no avail. I am not sure but I think the dash lights are controlled by the headlight switch. Some turnpikes you can't use a tow dolly, as it has to 4 down or 4 up(NJ Turnpike).

As long as im plugged into the house my camper is charging and everything works fine until i plug into a generator. Cant find out why

All fuses good inside trailer and still no power, crawl under front of trailer look for acces to fuses and circuit breakets!!

We are about to get a Stehl Tow Dolly to pull our Honda Civic. The KZbin gods must knew and pushed your video up. We are transitioning from a travel trailer to a Holiday Rambler Class A. Looks like once you get some practice it will take 15 minutes to get loaded up. Any regrets going with the Stehl?
