I loved this. The dichotomy of the hero's/heroine's journey provides so much food for thought. I especially loved the idea of the group as opposed to the individual hero. The Harry Potter reference that Harry has so much love in his love that fuels his journey, and he cannot succeed without Ron, Hermione, and the spirits of those who loved him. Dr. Bower sounds like someone I'd love to have a coffee with. I hadn't seen Barbie yet, but I think this interview nudged me toward viewing it.
