Bearded! How is it holding up after a bunch of miles? My TBR 2-1 is falling a part so I am getting the freedom 2-1. Love your videos RIP dadwithabike. I originally bought the tbr 2-1.... Installed at the dealership, ss intake, pv3 tuned.....8k miles later its falling apart. The headers go into it vertically and are a pressure fit with 2 springs. Two bros said its leaking because the metal contracted and expanded in cold temps.... The exhaust is going in the garbage!

I was under the impression you should never redline a motorcycle when it’s in the first 500 mile break-in period… this is why I would never buy a demo.
@TheBeardedBobber
@TheBeardedBobber 10 күн бұрын
These ones I believe are pre production so I don’t think they will get sold. Since they were so early in production. Usually that’s the break in period but same thing I think these had a break in at factor. I could be wrong but it didn’t feel like a break in bike. I agree though demo bikes are a roll of the dice. I’ve helped my local dealer run the demo truck and people really don’t care about bikes. Do way worse stuff than what I did. Also thankfully these bikes are never tuned to where they really can redline which keeps them safer I think.

I haven’t messed with the lights but it isn’t bad to remove the lowers. Putting them in is a little more tricky. The way the clamps are. Like 500 I think during this video. Currently at like 1200. Since it’s not mine a battery tender has made it way better. If I owned it it would have a tune for sure. Can you do a detailed comparison of the Sport Scout to the Scout 101? There is a big price difference of about $2,000-3,500 depends on models. How much better is the Scout 101 suspension and handling? Thanks, in advance. 🙏
@TheBeardedBobber
@TheBeardedBobber Ай бұрын
Honestly there is a lot of difference. The sport scout has regular suspension all around. The 101 had the adjustable front inverted forks and the piggy back shocks in the rear with more travel. That alone makes up the price difference. Plus the 101 comes with all the tech. Which the digital gauge with navigation is a big step up from two of the model lines. The tune for this one is the upgraded tune for performance. Also the dual front brembo brakes is a big plus. Ya the 101 comes loaded!

I have never had a bike but have been contemplating for years on getting one and the Scout Sport/101 checks all the boxes. I have a corbin like your black and grey one and I cannot get it to hook onto the front for the life of me...
