Picked one up today second hand. For £10. 😮 Needs a bit tlc but it’s rideable and smooth over all terrains. Gonna be used to commute to and from town. Brilliant scooter. Gonna save on public transport and keep me fit. Awesome

I've got the black BMX scooter, with deeper wider handlebars. It's so good, I'm seriously considering one of these, but I may need to raise handlebars height with stem extension, or just replace the forks. The Ospreys are very good scooters, and easy to work on.

I bought my black version about 18 months ago. I'm 6' 4" and found the bars a bit too low, so I fitted deep drop wider BMX handlebars, and now it's perfect. I use mine for a 3 mile to work commute on cycle paths. I run and cycle a lot. The scooter is very stylish and gets great comments at work. I'm considering the Osprey Apogee to add to the BMX scooter. Great value too.

I have a question if you can answer it. When it's cold outside the scooter will not work/roll. It's like the brakes expand. But when my child rides in the house it works. Why is this?

Mine arrived today and I've been setting it up. This video was helpful to make sure I did things in a sensible order. I suspect I'd have wasted a lot of time if I'd tried to just use the paper instructions. It would be great to have a follow up with just a bit more detail about setting up the calipers. I realise I can probably watch anyone's video on that but it seems worth mentioning. I'm looking forward to having my first ride on it.

How tall are you? your gf? I am reading Amazon reviews: some say it is too short for adults. My daughter is 5'4". Also, do you find the base (where you put your feet) to be long and wide enough? Tks for your help.

Hello.. awesome video. I’ve followed the instruction and the back brake still moves left to right and sometimes after letting the brake go the brake will be touching the rim instead of going back to where it was. Any suggestions? Thank you
@humble_roots2 жыл бұрын
I GOT YOU!!! Ok this is what you need to do, there's two hex keys on your breaks right (on the actual break handle) the one near the bar tightens the brake handle and stops it from pivoting around the handlebar, you want to LOOSEN the other hex right over top of it! That one controlls how sticky the breaks are. If you loosen it up completely the break pads and handle will spring back into place as you let go. So yea loosen the upper hex nut on the break handle for the break cable that is sticking. That's all there is to it!

I just got one of these and I cannot get the front wheel in. It seems the forks were put on too narrow. This was a gift and not sure how to go about fixing this.
Is this scooter comfortable enough to ride if you’re tall? I’m 5 ft 9 and don’t want to end up with a bad back if I get it 😂

Hi Sez, We recommend the Apogee scooter for taller riders if you're looking at doing longer distances.

I'm planning to put a 36V electric motor wheel on the ftont of mine when it arrives. Battery placement is the primary issue I have to figure out. I'm thinking of replacing the deck with a piece of diamond tread aluminum plate and mounting the battery under it. I also need to raise the handlebar height a bit. Really looking forward to getting this in the next week to 10 days. I'm always modifying every toy I get and this is really going to be fun. I used the 36V wheel on a home built recumbent which was a tad heavy and the motor pulled it along at about 18 mph so I hope that with the much lighter scooter, I'll go much faster.
