WAY off topic, but I remember a video from this account about the 1994 Union Square train crash, did you unlist it?
@pacificproductionsofficialКүн бұрын
@@Thenumbersthatareodd I probably did, I unlist/private videos I’m not proud of anymore, and if you want a video explaining the crash, there’s a lot more videos that do a better job then I do

Another fact about 2102 is that she was actually operated by the High Iron Company and it's founder Ross Rowland, In 1972 2102 was leased from Bill Benson's Steam Tours Inc for a series of trips between Central NJ and Bethlehem PA and a overnight excursion between Washington DC and New York via Elizabeth NJ, The next year she was cosmetically restored as D&H 302 for the Delaware & Hudson 150th anniversary

Fun Fact: The Big One is based of a real life steam locomotive called “Big Boy”, It worked for the Union Pacific and was retired in 2000 then got restored in 2011, but theres more, The Big Boy was the strongest locomotive in the world and had the most drive wheels in the west in North America and Central America, South America, It could hold up to 400 cars behind it and might could get up the Saluda Grade no problem, but ill tell abt the Saluda Grade for a sec, The Saluda Grade is a grade that is the steepest track in all off North America, holding at a stunning 4.7% grade, back to the Big Boy, The Big Boy was created in 1932 and had a derailment one time, so Big Boy 4001 was making its way through California then a crew stepped out of a Doodle Bug locomotive, Then when they heard THE whistle of the Big Boy 4001 they quickly switched the track, little did they know the 4001 hit the switch and it derailed killing the Brakeman Fireman and Engineer sadly.
@UrlocalimacG42002YTOfficalАй бұрын
Actually it was retired in 1959 Progress of the restoration at 2014 And 2019 It went back on rails Also one thing. Big boy was created in 1941 to 1944 Also one time big boy had a crash/derailment (by 1951 - 1952 ig) now heres the crash The locomotive, tender, and first 18 cars derailed. The cab of the locomotive was destroyed as the tender tore into it twisting and smashing the metal. The first 12 cars were badly damaged and piled in a 70' high heap. Also once again, it's the 4005 wreck
