I used this method and I noticed that after clicking the revert button - it was loading longer. It still didn't open the inventory valuation report and I don't know how it went from running to not. I need these reports and I am so frustrated. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Peter. Thank you for your videos. We need to export our gift certificates in excel (or csv) from Quickbooks POS. We need to see date of issue, certificate number and outstanding balance. The report that get's spat out doesn't show remaining balance. This may well be user error/ignorance. Could you please let me know how to do this? We'd really appreciate it.

I work for a family owned jewelry store and we are working on creating our ecommerce website through Shopify and also use quickbooks. I really want to find a thermal printer that will be able to print out our jewelry tags directly from Shopify and quickbooks. It would be great if it could do the shipping labels as well. Peter, I'm trying to revolve simple Error Fix when I transfer to sales to Quick Books. My sales History Exchange shows an Error of $15.95 on date 8/2/2024. Now every time I close out this same message appears. My financials' are fine. It just affects this one day. I tried fixing it, by doing a return. That seems to resolved my out of balance, however this same of Error is seen on each time I close out the store. Can you or someone help?

How do I get rid of Error that shows up on a sale. The options your showing is Posted or Not Completed. How do I get rid or correct a transaction that displays Error of $15.95 ? This error shows up each time I transfer my sales to financials. I then have to complete the close out procedures manually, by pressing Ok to update summery.

My POS system (register) is out front (in my store) and I send my financials to my back office. As you know both PC (out front) and POS Financials (on this same PC) and my back office. So a a branch was set to send my financials to my back office computer. I been a Quick Books POS since 2010. So I up dated to POS 18 in 2018 after finding out Quick Books POS 2010 does not support Windows 10. Enough said about this. My POS works great for my stand alone store. My sales, my input of inventory, and the financial exchange. I use my own stand alone Merchant Services. So Quick Books POS and Financial software works great for me. Here is my problem. Since the State of Ohio extended there free tax to all for 10 days (back to school) I decided to set my POS Work Station preferences to be tax exempt for all sales. That caused a problem in the Exchange and Update Summary Shown of the POS: Sales Receipt Sent: Problem Found (in Red) However, everything is being sent to the financial. How do I correct this and make this go away? Where it use to close automatically, now I have to close this prompt manually. My name is Dave and I'm the owner of Day Cin Vacuums. I'm hoping you can help me. I run POS 18 and POS 18 Financials. At the close of the day or anytime you transfer date to the financials. However on POS its showing that Sales Receipts Send: (Problem in Red) However the data is being send to my Quick Books Financials. This problem just started and I set my POS Preferences; at 0 Sales Tax. The reason Ohio has an extended no Tax Back to School Program. After I discovered the issue, I changed it back. I know QuickBooks point of sale has been discontinued. Are you still offering service? I have a problem. My license number is entered properly, but it won’t let me use other workstation although I have multiple license seats. I try rethinking as you mentioned, but still does not work.

I was using pos 9.0. when i needed to generate a receipt, i was just copying a previous one and edited the quantity column for all the items. Is this possible with pos 2013 coz i can see as if you can only edit one item’s quantity at time going through a very long process to create a receipt from the one you copied?

I know POS 19 is discontinued, but I am still stuck using it for a while. I have shipping that arrives on separate bills from my vendor. Can I apply that shipping to each item to correct my cost of goods sold? Or am I stuck entering that invoice as freight as a line item?
