Why didn't you use sin for the force Ac when calculating the components of x?
@ENGMCHANSWERSКүн бұрын
The angle beta is the angle between AC and x axis so cosine is the x component. Alpha was the angle between AB and y axis which was sine. You have to watch which one you pick. hope this helps!

As always, thank you very much for your kindness. Dear Sir, I have carefully followed your solution and am wondering whether we should consider that the force is applied at the circle’s edge rather than its center. After performing my own calculations, I arrived at the same result as yours. For reference, here is the equation I used: M = -120*cos(30)*(70+150+70-25*sin(30))/1000 - 120*sin(30)*(25+70+70+25+25*cos(30))/1000.

and also we always draw the x and y axis from the point we need to transfer to?
@BezawitBeyeneArgaw10 күн бұрын
i thought that point o is in x axis then why we add fx component of the momentum i don't understand it please make me clarify
@ENGMCHANSWERS8 күн бұрын
The point O is the origin in here and both fx and fy make moment about O, check out this video it explain moment in 2D: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3-QXneMgMuksJY

Dear Sir, I have carefully followed your solution to the problem, but I believe there is a point with which I disagree. The problem states that the robot exerts a 90-N force 𝑃 on the part shown in the figure. However, the question asks for the components of the force that the part exerts on the robot. Since this is a reaction force, it should have the same magnitude and direction but act upwards, not downwards.Thank you for all the videos you have posted and for clarifying if I misunderstood any aspect.
