I decided to look that bad boys tail number up after it kept me at work all day. Did some maintenance on it, shits pretty cool. Love that thing, even if it’s a bitch to work on sometimes

US military visiting Japan?

Thank you for your comment . Japan has several units stationed in Japan based on Article 6a of the Treaty of Peace with the United States, Article 6 of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty, and the Status of Forces Agreement (formerly the Japan-U.S. Administrative Agreement). This is why joint training exercises were conducted.
Outstanding footage of this Bell412EP, one of my favorite helicopters 👍😎

Thank you for your comment & watching . Recently in Japan, the number of 412s has been decreasing as more and more AW139s are replacing the updated equipment. 🥲

Them hollowed out retract pods are now nice, lift generating storage space! Always wondered if two more blades, and deleted retract hydraulics, made a signifigant difference in range & ride (vibration). Classic Bell artistry!!! Nice clip!!!!

That’s magnificent because that aircraft taxis like a plane and instead of running down the runway like a plane it just lifts up and flys away

Thank you for your comment. But the product No. for this aircraft is No. 95070, so I am sure it is AC695.

@@chippydesu Well sir I have thousands of hours flying airplanes like this and bigger. This is 100% either an AC 690A/B/or C (better known as an 840). My guess it is an 840. Looke at the windows on the side of the fuselage. They are all wrong for a 695. Look it up!!
@chippydesu6 ай бұрын
@@normanriggs848 Thank you very much. Since there is only one aircraft registered in Japan and it is not a familiar aircraft, the only thing I could find to base my decision on was the information registered with the Civil Aviation Bureau, so I trusted that. I will look into it when I have a chance.🫡

@@chippydesu If memory serves me correctly JAL did have an AC Commander 695 they used to evaluate and train new pilots for the airline. All I was saying was this video is NOT a 695! I am not upset with you or the video and you are right, you can only go by the data that is available, but the video does not show a 695. I am not making an issue of this and I won't bother you anymore. Take care and thanks for the video.
