In 2022 these paintings still give me the chills and funny how they like the backrooms trend.

Emilio Estevez said he was a big fan of the series and actually submitted a script but it was rejected. ☺

If I was going to do anything related to TV or Movie shows, it would be like Jack Laird, to write, direct, and do cameos in a few episodes of a similar series, I'd call it 'Nightmares & Dreams', so the audience wouldn't know what they were going to get, a bloody, hellish, mind freak ending, or something with rainbows and cotton candy delight eh My first two actors I'd want to star in the show is Sir Anthony Hopkins, and Viola Davis, they would be perfect together eh

Eh, these two little bits aren't not THAT bad. Mediocre NIGHT GALLERY is still better & more entertaining than those tiresome, boring, SIXTH SENSE episodes which were nothing more than filler & had absolutely nothing to do with NIGHT GALLERY.

My introduction to Rod Serling was in the fall of 1973. Our family had just moved to Denver from Chicago. I was 6 years old and weeknights on channel 2 were Truth or Consequences hosted by Bob Barker, followed by Night Gallery. Gil Mellé did an excellent job writing the very creepy theme music for this series. The Twilight Zone was a better series, but I’ll always remember Night Gallery.

Interesting to see Leonard Nimoy host this.......FACT: The show "In Search of..." actually had more than one pilot made in early 1975, all hosted by Rod Serling. He passed away before the show went into full syndication and they picked Leonard Nimoy as his replacement, too.
