Hello Shivakumar, appreciate your efforts of making a video on service of the Nissan Kicks. In my city the service centre is using 5w30 semi synthetic engine oil whereas in the manual 10w40 is recommended. I am not sure if its a good idea to use a thinner oil for the turbo petrol. What are your thoughts, will the service person in your city approve this? Thanks

Hi bhaiya, after browsing 25 videos on Hness CB350 vs Ronin, I found yours and I would say this is the most satisfying one I’ve found till now. I used to be an RE fanboy so didn’t look at any other bikes but last month when I was renting a bike from Royal Brothers fortunately all of the REs were out of stock & I had to rent Hness CB350. Man I was shocked after riding, such a butter smooth experience, it felt like I’ve been living like a frog in the well. And since then I’ve been exploring all the options & alternatives available in market, till now none has beaten Hness CB350. I’ll now watch all the videos in your channel related to this. I’ll probably buy one in few months. Ps. I’m also from Bengaluru :)

Great video. I totally understand the good vibe thing that you have experienced with TVS Ronin, if that's the way the dealership responds. So, your reason for not choosing Ronin are, the look and the design, experience with the dealership, unavailability of spares. Any other reason? Because I'm experiencing the exact opposite with the dealerships here.

This is very reason why I don't go to dealerships of these bike companies to make review videos or join whatsapp groups or promote any specific brands...because the more friendly you get with these brands..you get caged..you opinions will be never be unbiased...so even a genuine problem in a bike will be ignored...you have paid for the bike and you have every right to call out the issues...

Esp for Jawa or its parent company its a diff issue altogether. It never gave bikes to influencers or reviewers or auto journalists with the worry that they will speak out its negatives. But being an owner and being part of several owners groups I felt all of us were paying the price for the sentiment we went behind. This time I didn't go with any influencer or journalist review but test-rode the bike several times before narrowing down on the CB350. I am glad that I took the decision.

I just did a 450km ride couple of days back and I rode for like 1.5hrs one way in 100kmph average - (yes average). I hardly came down from 90kmph and though out the 3hrs ride I didn't feel even one point where the bike is buzzy or viby and I should stop or take a break or anything be it on my hands or feet or bum. Rahul - You can choose any of the BigWing centres. I personally stay closer to BW North and am very happy with their service. You do have one in Indiranagar which might be closer or the Lavelle road one. It's just the once-in-6k service for which you have to ride a bit of distance which is still fine. Go test ride both bikes and what ever feels good and comfortable for you pick it up.

Why should one go for 350 cc vs 225 ? Genuinely asking. I own a platina 110cc. Took test rides of Meteor, hunter, N160, and Ronin 225. I loved the comfort of Ronin. Many of my Biker friends are saying to try Hiness 350 (apologies for spelling mistake) Thus, can anyone help me ?
@creator_on_wheels Жыл бұрын
It's a valid question - the simplest answer to that is the Upgrade path. Why do you want to go from 100 cc to 100 cc again? My path was 125, 180, 273, and 343 to be precise and I know what I want next also. My primary requirement was a neo-retro or classic-looking bike, not a roadster and I went for a path within that category itself. In the list, you gave I wouldn't put the N160 into the equation because that's a diff category of bike. I wouldn't even put a CB200F or Dominar250 etc. Cos they are diff segments. If possible try to take test ride of 2-3 diff bikes on same day eg Hunter, Meteor, Classic350 and Hness or RS. you will see a very noticeable difference. If you give gap between test rides you wont feel the evident difference or similarities. Also do multiple test ride of same bike in diff showroom and on diff roads that matters too.

What are tips for first riding/using a new Hness ? Like how much speed I need to maintain in every gear? How much fuel I filling in tank at a time? Etc
@creator_on_wheels Жыл бұрын
Go out and ride and enjoy. Don't break your head much about the speeds and all. Just be comfortable and get used to the weight and the dynamics of the bike and more specifically to the gearing. For the fuel, I answered in a separate comment. But for the speed, until the first service ( 1000kms ) don't go beyond 80-90 kmph or over speed. Let the bike settle. If its only city use, especially a traffic hub like Bangalore, we hardly go beyond 2nd or 3rd gear and 60kmph. This is not a high-revving machine so enjoy your cruise at 80-90 kmph on highways and have fun with the bike. Thats all I can say.
@Aiimsdelhi75 Жыл бұрын
How much fuel I fill in my new (2 days Hness) CB350? Showroom man saying don’t full the tank up to fist service…
@creator_on_wheels Жыл бұрын
There isnt any rule like that. But over a period you should never run the tank dry. To begin with, I personally fill up 500 every time when am riding only for office commute. When going outside of the city I have done 1000. Nothing beyond this. Haven't done the full tank yet. But there is also another belief that doing a full tank once in a while helps spread the fuel along the inside of the tank and helps prevent rust. Contrary to that never run for long or till the last drop of fuel as it will spoil the FI system. When the last bar starts blinking take that as a pointer for max next 10-15kms to fuel up.

I had a Jawa(dual ABS), I sold it off and bought CB350 anniversary edition black. owning a Jawa I had a similar worst experience I also faced all the issues you mentioned in this video and coming to the bike itself is the worst in every department the engine is so rough and unrefined and makes all kinda noices, the seat the suspension is way too hard its a back breaker overall the whole product is a sub-quality sub-standard bike, I got deceived by its old school looks and wasted my money on it and I also made all kinds of modifications to make it suite my riding style but that didn't work either. I'm not afraid to post this because people need to see this and make an informed decision while choosing a bike and don't waste their hard earned money. Coming to Honda CB350 its an absolute dream to ride, Its been 8 months ridden 10k km and done 3rd service, the engine is just butter smooth lightest clutch in the segment good riding aurgos just enjoying the ride.

Good observations, good with Japanese brands they mention Unladen Ground Clearance whereas Indian brands mention loaded GC. Unladen GC of CB350 is more than 200mm, as measured in "HONDA HIGHNESS CB350 GROUND CLEARANCE | #indiatechgarage" - INDIATECH GARAGE Unless one off-road GC is just not a problem on CB350
@creator_on_wheels2 жыл бұрын
This is never an offroad bike. For the city and occasionally broken roads ( like whats predominantly in Bangalore ), this is perfectly fine. 100s of folks across India have taken it to Ladakh, Umlingla, and Spiti already in the last 2 years without any issues with the ground clearance.

The simplest answer is "Refinement" and the urge to have a long-term well performing bike. As much as I like Meteor and Hunter I was/am not a big fan of the look of the Classic350.
