Use the boat you already own. Exactly. Now i just have to retrieve my Mirror Dinghy from Nova Scotia as I retire from working in NWT.

The video shold have been about 3(three) minutes. longer. It would have been fun to see how they pass each other, and how hard it is to stay on the board.

so what you are saying is my topper iso and contender are bot out then lol, altough i have had a 2hp seagull outboard on my contender to motor it around to the bay we use to go dingy sailing in as it was the only way i could get it there, as it was a tad windy to sail it, i did pack all my camping stuff on it once and sailed it 5 miles down the cost to go to the local sailing club bbq weekend witch was fun, had to get a tow back though as there was no wind to sail back!!

Looks really flimsy to me. Just yesterday I had occasion to sit in my car through a Midwestern rain squall. Several puffs were strong enough to rock the car on its suspension. It was raining so hard (horizontally) that visibility was much decreased by the volume of water in the air. I can't imagine that tent surviving, let alone keeping its occupants dry.

A newbie question please. With all the water pouring in from the now closed gates, should you then leave the opened gates open once you've left the lock?

I mean i do prefer the Melges 24 over the J70 sailing wise but the cost running the J70 is so much better!! And i hate the rule that you cannot hike properly in the boat

If there could be a larger boat you could tie up to or go into and the main boat was like a ferry for the narrow boats..

I would take a narrowboat over the channel if and ONLY if I had 2 narrowboats. One for living in as a home back in the UK, and a second one that I can just crash and bash about a bit just for the "LOL" of it. You can pretty much forget about insurance on that boat.

This is a great video for any support boat drivers not used to 29ers. 29ers have practically no stability and will capsize in a still flat day unless you do something to stop them. I would suggest that towing them with the main up is only practical upwind. Also, this video is shot in light winds and fairly flat water. When its windy and the waves are bigger, and when most of the problems start occurring, things like lifting the mast out of the water become much more difficult.

Somewhat fake, butt that was SOMETHING in my hometown in the Land of Goshen, Land of Lincoln USA when a racoon harbored in theYonakas Jewlery store, hanging around all of the largest diamond wedding rings! Then a raccoon came to my Democrat pro-life,coalition neighbor to live in a galvanized, corrugated drainage pipe on a new road for new new subdivision behind my mother's rental. Then someone put a deep DENT in the end of the pipe, likely so the racoon couldn't enter. I tried to remove the DENT by prying-up with the 11-foot mast of my, used, $325, old AMF Alcort Sunfish sailboat, sitting in the YARD illegally, near the new subdivision. Then the mast of the sailboat disappeared! People in the subdivision were being stung by bees from a hive in the yard of the rental. The red mailbox 'fell' off it's post; I had to SECURE the mailbox! --glk, Town cryer, Ten ton dog, 🟫🟩 WW11 tail-gunner. Yes,I pooped today!

If only you could bottle it (in WWII there was significant research in to airfield fog, what it was and how to clear it, hence the fog bottlers). Oh you just did bottle it, excellent, hold on tight so we don't lose it.

MANY skippers do NOT know about the Rules that apply INSIDE the ZONE, After having Rounded and left the Mark - there are Rules that still apply even though the mark has been Rounded - the ROW boat must sail True Course towards the next mark and any boat leeward cannot push ROW boat above Close hauled UNTIL after Leaving the ZONE ... A Video on The ZONE would be a great contribution, showing ALL scenereo conditions - Everyone gets focus on Mark Room, but that ends when mark is no longer in play after leaving the mark, but still in the ZONE which still exists 4 boat lengths after the Mark outbound towards the next mark on the course. .... - GC/QLD AUS
