The wife of the pastor has a critical responsibility- she is married to a man who happens to be called to give hope to his flock. Their marriage is built on submission to what the scripture says for each person. Only the Holy Spirit can make it all work- being the wife of the pastor is demanding- each must surrender to God- allowing Him to give the orders and them to follow orders. Submission is the only route to victory. It is a heart condition.
