I had a ford Cortina back in the 80,s that had done 195k on it when i bought it , and the guy i purchased it from said he bought it with 25k and never had the belt changed. I replaced it ,but the original brlt was absolutely fine with no cracks or any signs of stretching at all . Just goes to show some last longer than others probably depending on make whether the replacement belt was OE

@nitetraitor1 blimey thst takes me back, they had these in my astra gte 16v it's just a metal coil suspended in the air and I think it measures the temperature of the air flow to the inlet manifold, it's something like that anyway! This is back in the days when you needed a socket set to work on your car instead of a damn laptop....
